Mitchell came to our unit and offered to take us with our grandchildren to see the farm in the back of his bakkie. The boys walked with the chickens, picked out eggs, checked the vege garden, drove a tractor and were generally spoilt - Mitchell was their hero. We walked with the Al Paco's, the geese and even visited the goat house, We had sundowners on the deck, made a beautiful hot tub and experienced their amazing "Eathouse" meals. The Breakfast basket was exceptional.

The view from the property is unbeatable; endless sea view with -when lucky- whales, seals and dolphins right in front of you. Closer than when using a booked tour in the nearby town. The fireplace is perfect for colder days and evenings, the smart TV has Netflix included and there are several spots to chill. The heated plunge pool and jacuzzi are out of this world. The cushions in the custom made deck chairs are suuuuper comfy. It is easy to get in touch with the host when you need anything; he’s a WhatsApp message away.

The hosts and the staff are super nice. They are very helpful and have many tips on what to do, where to go etc. The apartment is unbelievably beautiful and created with so many details. The view over Hermanus, the bay and the ocean is amazing. You find everything you need. We loved the prepared fire place (as it was still quite cold) and I was a huge fan of the heating blanket in the bed. The breakfast is delicious and a perfect start for the day.

The whole farm is beautiful, and the view is absolutely stunning! The kolkol is a great place to relax on a cold winter's night.

The safari tent was well kitted out and the supply of wood perfect for fuelling the braai and hot tub. Alet even gave us fresh dry wood when our pile got very soggy due to torrential rain!
