The building is a classic . The stuff of dreams . The room was enormous with a view of the beach . Everything was thought of and the housekeeping was exceptional . The bed was super comfy . The pool area is elegant and a wonderful place to watch the world go by . I dined in Pergola and Ciprianis. Both were excellent . The breakfast is world class and every possible item is available . But what makes this hotel truly exceptional is the PEOPLE. The personal touches , the attentive but not overbearing service . Quiet efficiency everywhere and nothing is too much trouble . I have stage in two six star hotels and have NEVER felt so well looked after . As a woman travelling alone that says everything

Fantastic boutique hotel in the Santa Teresa district of Río de Janeiro. Gabriel and Claudio (hotel owners) and the rest of the staff made us very welcome for the week . The breakfasts were different every morning and extremely tasteful and yummy too .The bedroom in main building was colonial old style and nice. Highly recommend Casa Geranio for a vacation in Río De Janeiro . The experience was home to home due to the attention to detail and the caring and thoughts that Gabriel and Claudio put in each of their guests. To other possible clients go and experience a 10 rating hotel. Obrigada Claudio y Gracias por todo Gabriel

I had a wonderful stay at Armazém São Joaquim Pousada and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and well-located place to stay. The staff at the restaurant downstairs were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always making sure guests felt welcome. The rooms were comfortable, with cozy beds that made for a great night’s sleep. The entire place was clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall pleasant experience. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the area. The only small downside was the sound isolation, which could be better—noise from outside or neighboring rooms can sometimes be heard. However, this didn’t take away from the overall positive experience. If you’re looking for a charming, comfortable, and well-located place to stay with great hospitality, Armazém São Joaquim Pousada is definitely a great choice!

The place & the bedrooms look amazing, the breakfast is great... And the staff, especially Amanda & Luc, were really kind and helpful. Felt almost like home in an intimate place in Santa Teresa.

    Perfect location - city center and ipanema just few minutes with taxi/uber. Copacabana / Urca we even walked from the hotel and flamengo beach is what locals prefere and it was safe there!!

    The location is excellent, near many shops and restaurants in a safe neighbourhood. I belatedly found a jazz bar over the road. The Cacete/Flamengo beach is nearby, and is much better than Copocabana, with more shade and a better promenade. I pleasantly walked about 9 km to Copocabana, then easily took the Metro back to Cacete. Breakfast was fairly basic, but fine.
