I don't even know how to start this review to better describe the wonderful experience I had with Royal Apollonia. We arrived at the location around 17:00 where we were welcomed with champagne, and Mrs. Paulina, the hotel manager, offered us a free upgrade to a room with a sea view. It was a real surprise for which we thank Mrs. Paulina! The view is really amazing, the room is big and clean, we found a bottle of champagne in the room, a fruit platter, a package of local products and some cakes, all complimentary. All the hotel staff are smiling and always willing to help you, the breakfast served on the terrace is very varied and tasty. It was an extraordinary experience and we hope to come back to Royal Apollonia!

Limassol Castle

Limassol Castle is a great place to learn about the island’s medieval history. This castle is where Richard the Lionheart proclaimed himself King of Cyprus back in the 12th century, and it’s been used and re-used by numerous empirical powers down the centuries. It’s also home to Limassol’s Medieval Museum, where you can delve a little deeper into the stories that shaped Cyprus.
