We arrived at the hotel and were welcomed by a charming host, who guided us around the facilities always with a smile on his face 😄 The room is big with built-in bathroom and minibar with local beers 🍻 The bed is super comfy so we had a good night sleep after a long day hiking. We also enjoyed the sauna and generous breakfast. Well, we have nothing to complain 😁

This hotel has so much to be proud of - excellent food, great wellness, a perfect position, and professional staff. Breakfasts and dinners were a top-class, the afternoon snacks also provided a great choice for hungry hikers. The wellness area is stylishly and comfortably equipped. An extra bonus were a lot of accessories for our dog - a dog pillow, bowl, snack and even more welcoming surprises made this stay unforgettable. Many thanks.

Konigssee

The glassy clarity of Lake Königssee takes the eye tumbling into its transparent depths, creating a blurry harmony between the waters and the mountains above. Protected from gas motors since 1909, the lake is skimmed only by quaint electric boats, shuttling passengers from stop to shore-side stop. Hop off at St. Bartholomä to visit the 12th-century church, or the last calling point, Salet, for Lake Obersee.

    A charming place to stay near Königssee Lake! The location is perfect for starting hikes, and the hotel owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The added bonus of having sauna facilities made it even better—such a great way to relax after a long day of exploring. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area!

    We stayed at Aparthotel Hochfeld for one night in Schönau am Königssee, and it was a delightful experience. The location is stunning, surrounded by the beautiful Bavarian Alps, which made for a peaceful and scenic retreat. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering everything we needed for a short stay. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure we had a pleasant experience. I only wish we could have stayed longer to explore the area more. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Schönau am Königssee!

    Very cozy hotel! Great location next to the Königssee. Our apartment located privately on the highest floor of the hotel. The apartment was spacious and clean and had everything you need. The staff were helpful. The breakfast selection was modest but everything needed was there.

    The breakfast was amazing!! There was an omelette , different kinds of sausages , very delicious pies. The room was cozy and well cleaned. I liked being there .Oh.. and don’t forget swimsuit . There is a small swimming pool and sauna. The hotel is not far from Konigssee, only 7 mit by bus . The bus stop was near the hotel , just cross the road.

    This is a lovely, well-maintained little apartment, well appointed for easy access to Konigssee (15 minutes walk to the lake), with shops and bakeries just around the corner, which makes a big difference when you're self-catering. The apartment was not especially spacious, but was nicely decorated and well maintained; the kitchen and bathroom were very well equipped.
