Great staff! Roomy closets. Not super chic design or Berlin vibe but tasteful enough. Alexanderplatz not so charming but very central. And Tiergarten is great for morning runs!

    Stayed in this district for a week and (for those who don't...

    Stayed in this district for a week and (for those who don't know) it is the gay village in Berlin. I'm not gay but an ally... I worked in the gay community for an Aids charity for 6 years, and pride myself on being un-shockable. However, let's just say I was shocked. Berlin pushes gay culture to the next level... it is brave and bold and I think unless you are part of the gay community it probably isn't the place for you!

    I really enjoy how clean the rooms at Motel One are - I just wished that they had a fridge - because I would like to have my special diet needs cooled at all times. Location is near Tiergarten, and central to Nollendorfplatz-. Wenn price is 100€ per room without breakfast, thats great!
