The location is superb. Just of the Cathedral square. Car park with discount arrangement 100m away. Beautiful conversion with Scandinavian clean lined rooms. All aspects of the designs were thoughtfully done. Their support of women’s rights way heartwarming to know. The security systems for entrance and rooms worked well.

This hotel is incredible - right next to the Santiago de Compostela, the location couldn't be more perfect. The room we had was so large, we thought there had been a mistake, but no - it's just an incredible property, and you do feel like Medieval Catholic Royalty when you stay there. The breakfast was delicious - although it was our first time experiencing tableside service for ordering omelettes etc ( we are used to just going up to an egg station to order!) so we were patiently guided back to our table and told to wait for the waiter to come around, which we both thought was funny! Breakfast had so many Galician specialties on it as well, we tried as much as possible, and it was all delicious. We loved walking through the hotel interior and the inner courtyards as well - it's incredibly beautiful. All of the staff were so courteous and friendly - and very patient with all of our questions. We had dinner at the Tapas restaurant our second night and would absolutely recommend it - the seafood was incredible. Even my vegan partner was chowing down on shrimp and scallops ( we joke that he is now 'Spanish Vegan' ) - and the price was more than fair.

The hotel is centrally located and right next to the cathedral. The room was bright, clean and warm. Shower was great and the lift saved my knees. Staff were friendly and helpful. Kevin took good care of our needs and gave great tips on the points of interest.

    Pay for the entrance to the Portico de Gloria.

    Pay for the entrance to the Portico de Gloria. Buy a guide ahead of time so you can really appreciate everything on the portico. Super worth it! The mass at 730am is not crowded at all, but the noon mass is crazy crowded. The queue goes all around the block and people in the queue sometimes don't even make it into the church by the time the mass starts. Pray that the large censor (butafumeiro) will be used during the mass you attend. It happens only during special feast days or when someone pays for it.
