We arrived quite late at the hotel and the staff, was kind and helpful offering us tea and cookies. Especially Adlea, who during our stay always made herself helpful and welcoming, making us feel at home. We´d like to mention all the concierge staff that worked tirelessly to fulfil our wishes, especially Joe.

Buckingham Palace

The Crown Jewels lie in the Tower of London, but the Queen’s Guard watches over the head that wears them. Although the role of the red-coated guards is purely ceremonial, join the hordes trying to break their legendary stare – or simply enjoy the pomp and ceremony of the daily Changing of the Guard. In summer, take a tour of the palace’s treasure-filled rooms.

Very beautiful architecture, beautiful flower gardens. if the King is in residence you may be lucky to see him waving to the people/visitor from the Royal balcony, Statues of the former royals, horses on chariots, gift shop for London souvenirs and Royal family’s souvenirs shop close by. So much to see. Walkable distance to many Historic sites and attractions. Not too far from Downing Street (it’s walkable - I did it).

Headquarters of the British Empire's Colonial and Slave-trading operations. Home of the princes' of hearts, Diana, which millions of iditons came to mourn when she parted a glossy life of privilege. Home of a old bag, thankfully departed now. And her son, the Prince with the big eyes. The famous tampino. Nothing to see here, move along.

Location was excellent, very close to Victoria station, Buckingham Palace. Room was pretty much what you would expect. It had adequate floor space to open suitcases. Bed comfortable, only one chair. Cooked breakfast as well as fruit and continental items. Reasonable value for money given the location.

Room was fine although an upgrade so original room may have been very small. To be fair the room we booked was described as small. Location is great. We were there to visit Westminster Abbey (just at the end of the road) and Buckingham Palace (a short walk) and the Royal Albert Hall (not too far away). There is a tube station very near the hotel. Breakfast is very good and served in the adjoining Fullers pub where the beer is very good for the evening.

What guests said about Buckingham Palace:

  • London has an enormous amount of green space.

London has an enormous amount of green space. We were located in the Westminster district near Buckingham Palace and there was so much to enjoy just by walking through St. James Park. A stroll to the Thames brings you to the heart of the city. So much to see. An incredible city and the people are great. Don't miss Trafalgar Square.
