amazing position of the hotel amd we had THE BEST room with a view to die for , great staff who were incredibly friendly and lovely food . Also easy parking at the hotel which can be very important in these small towns that have a lot of tourists.

we were greeted by the friendly reception staff and parking sorted straight away. Taken to our room- brownies and pod coffee waiting in the room. comfortable, spotlessly clean, complimentary still and sparkling water. Big soft fluffy towels, hot shower with ample water pressure. Comfy beds, great pillows! slept well. The restaurant food was a little fancier than we were used to but delicious and good value. The views of St Michaels Mount we’re amazing. One of the nicest places we stayed in our 7 weeks (so far) of travelling from Australia.

A great attraction but be careful about when you attend.

A great attraction but be careful about when you attend. Don't go in school holidays as the crowds are massive and limits time inside the castle and in the gardens. I think this also creates a risk of injury on the steep and uneven terrain.

The walk from Penzance to Saint Michaels is lovely and I would recommend it. It’s mainly flat so not too difficult. However Saint Michael was quite expensive (28£ entrance fee) for what you get. Not sure if I would recommend entering

We had lovely views across the bay to St Michael’s Mount. Wonderfully situated for the bus and railway station. Only minutes away from some excellent restaurants and coastal trips etc. The position couldn’t be better.

The location was perfect for me, so close to the railway & bus stations and the town centre of Penzance, not having my own transport. The views of St Michael’s Mount, and the changing weather conditions, were stunning from my room!

What an amazing place. I loved it! The design of the cabin is inventive and creative. It’s quirky and fun and a short walk from the rail station. There is a stunning private garden where you can sit amongst the huge succulents and watch the ferries and boats with St Michael’s Mount in the distance . I felt safe and comfortable as a female solo traveller.

As soon as I had made the booking, the hosts made me feel welcome and were available for any queries. This was the best equipped accommodation I have ever stayed in. Everything one might want to know about the apartment, its equipment and the area was clearly explained in a visitors’ folder. The location was perfect with a stunning view over the sea to St Michael’s Mount. My companion and I particularly enjoyed the balcony.

Claire and Kevin were great hosts, giving us tips about local attractions and food options. The breakfast was generous and the fresh fruit was excellent. We loved the fresh milk in the little fridge on the landing for tea in our room. We did ask Claire to take out one chair because we had 2 big cases but the window sill area was great for extra storage. The power point/USB cubes on each bedside table made charging easy. Nice to see St Michael’s Mount out the landing window. Help with our suitcases up the stairs was much appreciated.
