Located really near almost all tourist attractions. We visited dozens of places and we needed to take a bus for only 3 of them. All the rest is in walking distance. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. Room is big, clean with comfortable bed. Heater was comfy. All in all a great place to stay while in Dublin.

Check-in was incredibly easy and quick. The receptionists and breakfast staff were very kind and helpful. There is a little library to pick up a book to read during your stay and then leave it behind again before you leave, which was a really nice touch! I got upgraded to a more spacious room than I had booked, which was a lovely surprise. I also had the option of adding breakfast to only my last morning, so that was perfect for me and great that they can be so flexible for those with room only reservations.

This is a great hotel. We stayed upstairs in the penthouse suite, it was wonderful! The balcony on it was huge, the room was a great size with 2 bathrooms. Sound system to play music was great, and big televisions. Breakfast was good, their avo on toast was delicious. Coffee was good. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and food was good quality, would be nice to have more options though. Hotel staff all friendly and helpful. Hotel is close to all popular sites.

We don't usually travel at Christmas time but our daughters thought we should visit Ireland. They knew it would be the 15th trip for my wife Glenda and I . We hit the highlights in Dub and I drove us out to the Christmas markets in Galway. Coming back to the Fitzwilliam for Christmas was an excellent choice as we enjoyed superb hospitality over Christmas and St. Stephen's day. We'll be back again.

Perfect location in an extremely interesting neighbourhood: the hotel is at a walking distance from the main city attractions (musems, Guinness, Trinity College, Jameson's, etc.). Very nice bar with a free drink if you give up the cleaning room services during your stay. The rooms are cozy with excellent toiletries, with an interesting musical twist. Each floor has a shared room with filtered water, tea, coffee and vending machines for small hygiene emergencies (such as "tooth cleaning" set, etc.).

The hotel is very new, about a 30-minute walk from Trinity College, with supermarkets nearby. The tram stops right at the door and it’s only a 10-minute walk to the Dublin Express bus stop for the airport. Check-in and check-out are easy with self-service kiosks, and the staff guide you if needed.

Extremely convenient location for Trinity College, Archaelogical Museum and all transport including Hop-on, Hop-off bus tours and Merry Ploughboy Pub shuttle pick up. Parking around the corner at a public lot with reduced rates. Breakfast was excellent and staff was very friendly. Stored our luggage until our room was ready after our early morning flight arrival. Very comfortable, quiet accommodations in the townhouse building across the street from reception.

The best thing about the hotel is its location, close to Dublin city center (a 10-15 minute walk from Trinity College) and easily accessible by bus, too (it's a few stops from Temple Bar). The reserved parking space in an internal courtyard at the back of the building is very convenient, although it costs €10 per night in addition to the room rate. It should be noted, however, that due to limited spaces, parking isn't always available, so it's best to book well in advance.

The room was well-equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good with a great variety of food and it was slightly less expensive than in other hotels. The hotel is about 10/15 minutes walking from Trinity College and other attractions such as Temple Bar and the Dublin Castle.

The location was great, as the hotel is about 15-minutes away from Trinity College if you decide to take a walk and visit the college grounds. Plus, the hotel is close to numerous cafes, restaurants, a large park and the Temple Bar part of the city, which is a vibrant place full of pubs, bars, restaurants and shops. The hotel also used to be the residence of George Bernard Shaw, which would be appreciated by literature lovers. Last but not least, the staff were welcoming and friendly.

There is so much to see and do. In the two days we were there we walked for miles! We also got on the tour bus which was €19 and was great because you could just hop on and off at whatever sights you wanted to see more closely. Sights include the national museum of dublin, Guinness storehouse, croke park, Dublin zoo, Dublin wax museum, trinity college and even more!!
