Rooms are renovated in Japanese style and I loved it. Views are impressive. Taken the first coffee facen the Fuji in your room is a total experience. The staff was so nice. And I highly recommend the dinner in the hotel!!!

Everything was perfect all throughout our stay! A short walk from the station, the check-in was super smooth with the staff speaking rather good English. Then we arrived in our room: huge space and patio with a view on the Mt. Fuji?!! Private and enormous bath, all amenities provided, you only need to relax and enjoy. A lot of tiny details that make the difference: the name on the door, the tea ceremony experience, the incredibly kind staff. Thank you to all the team for showing us Japanese hospitality!

    We had a wonderful stay at this hotel near Lake Kawaguchiko. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with stunning views of Mount Fuji (on clear days!). The room was clean, cozy, and well equipped. The staff was very kind and welcoming. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature.

    The hotel location is great – even though there’s no direct view of Mt. Fuji, it’s only about a 20-minute walk to one of the best viewing spots by Lake Kawaguchiko. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While the service may not reflect the typical high standards of a traditional ryokan, they genuinely did their best to accommodate guests. The buffet meals were good – although they describe it as a “Western breakfast,” there were plenty of Japanese options available for both breakfast and dinner.

    Extremely close to Lake Kawaguchiko which in my opinion, is the main attraction in this area if you are not aiming to climb Mt. Fuji. Our hotel rooms also had a great view of Fuji which lead to good photo opportunities

    This hotel feels like you've stepped back in time, it is full of charm and character, importantly it has an amazing view of Mount Fuji from the Onsen, this was a real treat, as too was the view from our Japanese style room- the lake is stunning. An added bonus was the games room, my family and I really enjoyed this. If we ever make it to Lake Kawaguchiko again, we'd def stay there.

    The location was easy to reach by bus from the train station, the bedroom was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the area all around Lake Kawaguchiko was beautiful and easily accessible, particularly with good quality e-bikes available to hire at the hotel. We were pointed in the right direction to view the pagoda, then cycled onto the Lake, stopping for a meal on the way. Also only a short bus ride to start climbing Mt Mitsutoge with amazing views of Mt. Fuji. I would stay here again if I were to revisit this area!

    This is a beautiful hotel on the bank of Lake Kawaguchi. We had an amazing Japanese-style room. It had all the amenities and two large beds. The room was spacious and comfy. The best thing about the hotel was their onsen. We had 5 different hotels with onsens during our trip in Japan, but the onsen in this hotel was definitely the best. Would love to come back to this hotel on my next trip to Fuji.

The kaiseki dinner and exceptional breakfast were culinary highlights, celebrating seasonal flavors with artistic presentation, and recommendations on how to eat certain foods was appreciated! A shuttle service to the train station and a parting gift,made our stay even more special.
