Incredible place. the opportunity of sleeping in an Ancient Chinese building is unique. Breakfast was also super good (buffet and disses), also the swimming was very nice and peaceful. the staff was super nice and helpful You can reach everywhere in Georgetown on foot

The hotel is well located , close to the clan jetties, walkable to most tourist attractions, close to many restaurants. The staff are very helpful and always smiling. The rooms were spacious and clean. One of them had an amazing view of the sea. Security is good. The pool is clean but small - good for dipping to stay cool.The lush plants nearby make it relaxing. We had a very comfortable stay.

Best leg of our trip. The hotel is simply gorgeous. It has the loveliest historic architecture and feel despite which they have ensure modern facilities like good air conditioning, hot water, etc. My favourite part of the hotel is the library / study on the mezzanine floor. Breakfast and food in the hotel was delicious. The staff is really friendly and welcoming, took time to explain all the sightings and road maps to us.

Our room was spacious, airy, and refreshingly cool – a perfect retreat after wandering through the tropical heat. The pool is a hidden jewel – calm, inviting, and surrounded by lush greenery. We spent hours there unwinding. And the complimentary all-day lounge? What a fantastic idea! Whether you need a quick snack, a cold drink, or just a quiet corner to relax, it’s always available and beautifully stocked. But what truly elevates The Edison to a class of its own is the exceptional staff. They are the very soul of this hotel – warm, professional, and endlessly helpful. From the front desk to the housekeeping team, every single person we encountered went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The building and rooms were stunning and luxurious and had so much character. Gorgeous pool, restaurant - everything. The reception staff were SO friendly and helpful my whole stay - I felt so welcomed.
