EVERYTHING!! The hosts are incredible. So kind & helpful. The villa is beautifully designed & very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay so much we stayed for longer!

I had really a good time! Oliver and his family do as much as they can to make me feel at home! Always available to take me around Barra arranging for me excursions and everything's to make for me an amazing holiday.

Location, Location, Location! The beach is just a few metres away, allowing you to jump into the Indian Ocean whenever you like without the hassles that occur once you are even just a few hundred metres away. It's ideal for children: a shallow entrance and smooth waves. Special thanks to Wanette and Shawn, the managers of the lodge. Everything was expertly managed plus their advice and support in booking activities in the area was invaluable. From snorkelling to see seahorses and hundreds of sea stars, to collecting pansy shells or doing a quad-bike tour into the area or going whale shark viewing. I can highly recommend venturing out. The chalets themselves are not new but well maintained. We bought fresh Portuguese rolls from the locals every morning and also amazing tiger prawns for the braai. They were very friendly and I recommend supporting them. Alternatively there are two restaurant options in walking distance just along the beach. Green Turtle is pricey/upmarket, but don't we all need some spoils during our vacation? Overall we had a great time in Barra!

The resort was incredible and the staff were so friendly and helpful. All the facilities were really good.
