MoldovaGreat location, amazing communication, and the place itself is gorgeous with comfy beds and a great personalized touch from Hugh and Jude on arrival. Will definitely book again on our next trip to South Island. Have to mention the blue cod from the tavern close by recommended by Hugh was the best fish and chips I ate in my life.

United KingdomEverything was delightful. The house is actually bigger than it seems from the photos. The sun hits the kitchen and warms the whole house pretty much. Feels very nice. The kitchen has everything to cook in, but there are also restaurants nearby and a good supermarket just around the corner. We found the best lamb sausages there... :) The rooms are good size, beds comfortable and shower with great pressure. A lovely place to stay long-term. It is within walking distance from the beach and a short drive from Katiki Point Lighthouse, where you can watch the seals. The internet was great for work. We would love to return and see the birds in the backyard. The hosts were very welcoming and took the time to come over to hand us the keys. Definitely, one of the best places we stayed in NZ.

Great little place.
Great little place. If driving go into the carpark - Not the cafe - and you can walk to the beach free. If you go to the cafe you have to buy a ticket to walk down their steps to the same beach. Funniest thing we saw was people madly chasing their tickets along the beach which had fallen out of pockets! Boulders are a fun activity, worth stopping to look atGuest review byDianneNew Zealand

We were only staying 1 night (on the way to Dunedin), but it would be a great place for a quiet weekend break. It was somewhere we would not have normally ventured to but were glad we did. We cooked our own dinner but there was a nearby tavern about 5 mins away and a fish and chip shop. Check in was very easy with a message prior to our arrival and an easily accessible locked box. The unit was very spacy and great value for the price. Lighthouse had seals sun-bathing. Walk to Moeraki boulders pleasant along the coastal walk then on the beach (timed with tide going out). Had morning tea at cafe which had good food choices.
