Great beach.
Great beach. Go to the end of the beach, climb a few rocks and there are great caves to explore, The beach is more shallow and easier to swim, compared to the first part of the beach which is steeper with quick drop offs. You can bring your own umbrellas, chairs, and beach towels, and or overpay from a vendor on the beach. there is also a long ramp system that goes into town. A great walk for all. About a 20-25min walk into Alvor, but mainly uphill on the way back, however the Ubers are cheap. Comfortable accommodation, beautiful view of the beach and Lagos from the balcony. Our host Eduardo met us at the property and was always on hand to deal with any issues and offer excellent advice. The property is very modern, well equipped and very comfortable, with superb views out over the bay. We were literally yards from the town and it's wonderful selection of bars and restaurants. Outstanding facilities within the resort. PS. You would appreciate more the stay in the low season, though.
