Lovely quiet centrally located hotel. This hotel has charm that you don’t often find in hotels nowadays. Staff were very helpful, friendly and relaxed and there is delicious cake available with the complimentary coffee in the lobby each day. Would certainly recommend and will stay there again for our next visit.

From the moment I entered its magnificent doors, I felt as though I had been transported to the elegance of the late 19th century, yet every modern comfort was seamlessly woven into the experience. The hotel’s history is palpable, and its preservation is remarkable. I couldn’t help but marvel at the details: the grand staircase, antique furnishings, and the way each room seemed to tell a story. My room was a perfect blend of vintage charm and modern luxury, with plush bedding, beautifully curated décor, and a view that made the cityscape feel like a living painting. Large room and bathroom (after four other hotels in Copenhagen, Helsingor, Oslo) we were stunned by the generous spaces and cleanliness. Cable TV with many channels. Exquisite breakfast. Very close to a shopping center. And all this for a reasonable price compared to other Scandinavian cities.
