That was fabulous experience!!! I cannot understand, that such beautifully located venue is so "modestly" occupied. Anyway Great Fatra is unique to me, and such accommodation experience only boost my love to that mountains... To be more precise, very helpful staff, nice breakfast, location... breakfast with beautiful view, jacuzzi after exhausting hike (track are not technically demanding like in e.g., Tatra, but quite long).

Perfect location hotel right next to the cable way and ski rental. ⛷ We booked the big apartment, it was almost brand new, new furnitures, new bathroom with huge shower cabin. Everywhere in the public area was lovely green tea smell. 🍃 Breakfast was very delicious. We loved this hotel! Highly recommended. 💗😊

Vlkolinec Village

The rural medieval village of Vlkolínec is remarkably intact, given that its layout and folk architecture remain unchanged from the 10th century. The log houses, barns and stables sit on the hilly terrain of Veľká Fatra, about seven kilometres outside of Ružomberok. Surrounded by pastures and run through by a stream, the village takes you back to simpler days.
