CanadaThe location couldn't have been better. I travelled with my elderly parents and wanted to be close to the old street without having to climb too many stairs. The owners were nice enough to give us the only room on the main floor. The room was spacious and the view was spectacular. The room and public areas were so clean and well maintained. The breakfast was also stellar and highlighted the essence of Taiwanese cuisine. From the decor to the quality of furniture and customer service, we could tell the owners put a lot of thought into running the b&b.

New ZealandAmazing atmosphere, very warm and accommodating. The surroundings were magical, the view was spectacular and the room was cozy. We came on a rainy day, but this spot made it easy to still enjoy Jiufen and relax and keep dry. The breakfast was just what we needed too!

United KingdomWe LOVED this hotel. It was a gorgeous little homestay in a fantastic location in Jiufen. The vintage Chinese room added to our wonderful experience exploring this old town. The gentleman running the hostel was ridiculously friendly. He gave us a lot of local tips and brought us iced teas in the morning!
We highly recommend sitting on the rooftop with a beer at the end of the day and just take in the gorgeous scenery. I can’t recommend this stay enough!
