Excellent!! From the hotel lobby, to the rooms, to the buffet spread and the indoor playground for kids, everything was perfect. We took the Japanese style room & the view was perfect, overlooking Sun Moon Lake. Room was spacious, new and comfortable. Both dinner & breakfast buffet spread was perfect. Onsen was great too. Nothing to complain about.

Small boutique hotel with spotlessly clean rooms. Stunning lakeside views from the balcony (and bathroom). Air-conditioning works perfectly. Complimentary goodie basket and minibar items each day. Centrally located in Ita Thao. We stayed in 6A on the top floor.

The location is close to Suishe Visitor Center where the bus drops visitors off. It's about a 20 minute walk with luggage but we asked the hotel shuttle to pick us up and drop us off at the visitors center when we arrived and left. You can also schedule ahead of time if you want the shuttle to drop you off at Suishe at other times. There was a large buffet breakfast that was quite tasty. The room was also very clean and we liked the view. There were many bikes to use for free to bike along the bike path. This is not a criticism (and Sun Moon Lake is primarily a domestic tourist location) but a FYI - if you don't speak Chinese, communication with the hotel staff might be a bit challenging. Some staff had a little bit of English language skills but that was not necessarily consistent. That's ok though :) just be prepared with some sort of translator app which is definitely useful in Taiwan anyway.

Staff, particularly lady receptionist who had a sense of humour, was awesome! She helped me save money, they reheated my food leftovers. Bathroom looked brand new clean. Breakfast meals were varied and nutritious. I would not hesitate to stay here again on another visit to Sun Moon Lake!

    The lake view from my room and restaurant is very beautiful. Very near to zhaowu pier where the sunrise is breathtaking. Mr. Steve(i think is the owner) and the rest of the staff are very hospitable. I also like the simple breakfast buffet. I enjoy walking from the hotel to shuishe pier which is very scenic. I dont mind the distance (maybe around 800m) because its less crowded and you pass by zhaowu pier which is quiet & peaceful and is perfect spot to take photos of the lake.

    Cozy little hotel. The location is great, just near the bus stop and a short walk from the Shuishe pier. They provide free water, I also got 7-11 coupons (for breakfast). Everything's also simple and clear. One of the best places I stayed in during my month in Taiwan.

    A luxurious hotel in Sun Moon Lake. It is definitely an older building but it has modern furnishings inside. The breakfast buffet was decent but had limited options (Taiwanese or basic Western). It's attached to Shuishe Pier so you can walk out for a beautiful view of the sunrise/sunset.

    Did a last minute booking as my kids were car sick and had to change the itinerary at the last minute. But my card somehow was rejected during booking. But I was afraid it might be a scam and hence asked the hotel staff to verify. Hotel staff were flexible in not requiring a credit card booking ultimately. Hotel location is at the heart of the Ita Tao Pier, so good location if you don't mind not being at the main harbour, Shuishe Pier. Liked the breakfast too.

    It is very close to the bus terminal and is very convenient for everything including bicycle rental, dinner and shopping. The hostel is within 2-minute walk to the waterfront. 7-11 is just next door. The room is spacious, beds are comfortable. Lighting is bright and adequate. Lift is available. The shower room is big and clean. Breakfast is served in the room. Dinner is included but is served at an local restaurant serving Ita Thao food next to the Shuishe Pier.

    Bed was comfortable. Unlike other places we stayed in Taiwan, the shower was large and had proper barriers so that water wouldn't go to other parts of the bathroom. Very convenient location near Shuishe pier, bus station, and 7 eleven.

    Accommodation is in a great location, 5 mins from Shuishe center, shuishe pier and the bus stop (for Taichung and Alishan). The accommodation itself was very well maintained and had a nice ambience to it. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Water fountains were located in the main areas of the hotel.
