Oh my goodness! What happened to this motel chain?
Oh my goodness! What happened to this motel chain? It used to be trusted as a comfortable place to sleep. No frills. But now I never plan to stay at one again. Half the place was condemned, No elevator, though we were on the second floor. The rooms reeked of cigarette smoke and just plain filth. Windows had no screens yet opened wide so small children could jump/fall out. Individuals from the homeless community overran the place. There were solicitations of drugs and prostitution going on in the parking lot. The morning after our (thank god) only one night stay, I found my gas had been siphoned from my vehicle. The only reason we did stay was we booked it ahead of time and it was not refundable.

I attended the Indy Pop Con with my daughters and we had a great time. We had to check out a day early because of my job. We really enjoyed our stay. We checked in and done some shopping and the mall is great . I was really impressed with The Red Roof Inn because it was very quiet and that was what we wanted. Thank you for a great vacation.

Indianapolis is a rather quiet city.
Indianapolis is a rather quiet city. It doesn't have the hustle and bustle of a New York or Chicago. However they have a cultural area in the city with many attractions for tourists: museums, a zoo, parks, and a lovely canal on which you can rent a paddle boat or travel on a Venice-like gondola. It's a very sports-oriented city with little emphasis on classical art or music, or modern art for that matter. But I was only in Indianapolis for two days, so I may be missing a lot. I'd say it's worth visiting for a few days.

There wasn't one thing about Indianapolis that was good.
There wasn't one thing about Indianapolis that was good. The roads were terrible had to have work done on both of my vehicles because of the roads. The whole place is a ghetto. IU hospital is a mash unit except the nursing staff.

The hotel is centrally located in walking distance to Lucas Oil Stadium (football) and the basketball arena. Also numerous quality restaurants in walking distance. Overnight parking at $45 per night was far too expensive. The view from our windows was of an active homeless encampment with participants. A slight wall would have blocked that view from hotel guests. Hotel personnel and staff were very personable and professional. Free Breakfast was good.
We were not able to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast because of our time schedule. But, hopefully when we return we will have more time to do that!!
We were so happy with everything that the Nestle Inn provided!! Our bed was so comfy and the room and bathroom so clean!! I love the extra touches of the robes and make-up cloth!! Great idea to put clean towels In a bag outside of the room!! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay in Indianapolis!! Gretchen Umbaugh
We didn't need any services or help, yet it was nice to receive a text from the on duty attendant, Mary, if we had needed something. They were sure to say their name and contact info during check-in. It's the little things when traveling, and kind, friendly employees are always welcome! Next time thru, we will probably stay again. Out of 4 different hotel visits last week, this left best impression!
And thank you for stocking the room with more than 2 towels, much appreciated!
Loved all the colors in the house. The shower in the bottom bathroom has great water pressure and the stained glass. The beds were not too hard or soft. The seating area was cozy and we loved playing games together. The kitchen had everything we needed including some snacks which was a nice touch. If we go back to Indianapolis, I would want to stay here again. The house wasn’t far from the interstate which made getting around very easy.
The hotel is in a beautiful building and has cozy decor in the lobby. The rooms are nice with comfy beds and nice toiletries (the Omni partners with Nest and the shampoo and body wash were "Sicilian orange" which smells amazing). There was plenty of space in the room for two of us and our bags for the Indy 500. The hotel location is very central to Indianapolis and the city is pretty walk-able. The valet was easy to use as well.
Breakfast was well stocked by staff! Great variety of food and drinks. Offered snacks and free drinks at night too! Great location right off the highway but still within decent distance of downtown Indianapolis. We were in town to visit the children’s museum and was only a 20 min drive on Meridian from the hotel! We have the queen suite with the sofa bed-great for families to space out after a long car ride.
Amazing historical hotel. Our room was huge and very clean. Beds were really comfortable. Also we had jacuzzi in our room, so it was nice to take a bubble bath after long hot day. Personal was nice and helpful. The hotel is a little bit far from the Downtown, but if we were need to stay in Indianapolis again we would still stay there.
What I liked about this hotel is, it is centrally located in the downtown area, also it is connected to the mall and surrounded by lots of restaurants. The breakfast that was served was freshly cooked and great. Whenever I go back to Indianapolis the Embassy Suites will always be my choice hotel.
staff was excellent. knowledgeable, friendly, fast and efficient. The room was exceptionally clean. The breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel in years. The pool smell was not overwhelming. Even the parking lot was clean. thanks!!
we would definitely stay there again..
This was a perfect location to access Lucas Oil Stadium and downtown Indianapolis. The property was tastefully decorated and more than adequate our family. We attend an annual event at Lucas Oil Stadium and hope to book the property for next year.
We loved the location of this hotel, right down town, within walking distance of White River State Park, Indianapolis Zoo, the Monument, and lots of restaurants. We also really appreciated the hot breakfast -- lots of choices and friendly service.
The inn was simply beautiful, very well maintained and very comfortable. The host was friendly and available for any questions/needs. Should I find myself back in Indianapolis I would not hesitate to stay again.
It was a Conrad hotel. The name is carrying the Indianapolis downtown location. It still carries 5-star characters of that, regarding what the hotel offers or activities (Restaurant, Spa, Valet Parking, etc.).
Was nice and close to airport! Went and walked to one of the other hotels for dinner as we didn’t have a car was good! Breakfast in the morning was good!
