The owners are wonderful hosts and were helpful in finding us a tour guide, as well as booking restaurants and shows. We hope to be back someday!

Right next to the protected peninsula (wonderful for exploring to hear and really feel the sea) and also to one of the best seafood restaurants in Chile, Chiringuitos. The owner is welcoming and full of stories about the history and surroundings. He organised a small boat trip to the nearby penguin island. The best sleep I had in Chile too, listening to the sea at night.

However it desperately needs air con as u cook inside the pods. The fan was almost non existent in the brutal heat. The staff were excellent but u need translation as English is not spoken. Pick up and drop off to the airport was very welcome. If u want to be close to the action tho, it’s not for you. Half hour walk to town in the heat isn’t doable. You need a car or scooter. It’s off the beaten track. The pool is a bonus but if ur in Easter island surely u won’t be laying around a pool at any time

The rooms are big, very clean and comfortable . Good hot water, fully equipped kitchen and the wifi signal is weak but it works (outside the room works perfect, in the room works fine). Location is the best: walking distance from the city, you are in front of the beach and Ahu Tahai moais, best spot for sunset in the whole island. And the best of this place: Viky and Marcelo, the owners and hats down the best hosts and the best guides to get to know the island. They pick you up from the airport, and they take you as well at the end of the trip. We will never forget the secret places Marcelo discovered for us, and how kind and attentive they were with my mother. They truly welcome you in the island, this has been a one life time adventure.
