Divided for 2 parts- one more calm and one with more noise and so called party at night. So many spaces to rest and relax. Everything is very clean and in good condition. The service everywhere is amazing. The food at restaurant was also very tasty with big portions and cocktails at bar were perfect.

The staff and owner are making you feel welcome and at home directly. They put so much love in this project and in hosting you and you can feel and see it in all the details. The vegan food is the best food we've had so far on our trip in Colombia. The views are breathtaking. The location is in the middle of the jungle with a natural swimming pool with the river. The cacao and fruit tour is super interesting (highly recommend!). I can just recommend to stay here, we really loved it. Thanks again for everything. Highlight of our trip so far!

It felt very upscale with nice sheets, shower, supplies. The fire and the hot tub at night were the highlight. Oh and the food was great.

I’m writing this for the benefit of those who are thinking about booking and reading posts that seem to comment without understanding what Wachakyta is about. It scored 10 because the whole experience was brilliant. Where else in the world can you spend the night on a deserted beach, with a chef, a bar, unlimited water, coffee tea etc etc? There is also free wifi (which didn’t always work when you were away from the main area). But you have to realise you are in a beach hut. You’ll get critters, wind, the sound of the sea and everything nature has. Sure, you’ll also have a comfortable bed, good quality sheets (and a mozzie net) so it’s not without some creature comforts. The prices charged for food and drink were perfectly fine given everything (including you!!) has to be delivered by boat. And the food is cooked to order… they will come to find you about two hours before lunch or dinner and you make your selection and choose the time. The boat, by the way, is a separate business but you’ll get details on how to book and as someone who speaks only a little Spanish, the whole process was done by what’s app. They picked us up at 4.20 on the Wednesday exactly as promised. And that, my friends, is our summary. This is a get away from the world place. Enjoy nature, wildlife, the sun, the stars and escape.

Quetzal Dorado Eco-Lodge by Mareygua is located in Los Naranjos, only 1.5 km away from the entrance of Tayrona National Park in El Zaino. Staff were extremely friendly and smiley, personal thanks to Santiago who was absolutely brilliant. We had a very heavy bag and staff took care of it despite the very many stairs. Welcome cocktail which is a nice touch. The room was very clean and the shower had hot water which is rare in the area. The views are fantastic, you will love the sunset. Dinner was good (very yummy coconut rice) and they even asked whether we wanted our red wine at room temperature (they tend to serve it cold in Colombia). Good breakfast. Close to Tayrona Park which avoids having to do a long drive. Hotel helped us organise our taxi requirements.

The hostel far exceeded our expections with a wonderful greeting from our host, Carmen, who was always happy, smiling and helpful. Due to the price we paid, we expected a much cheaper feeling, but everything from the facilities to the personnel was excellent. While there's no food on the premises a small restaurant very nearby has one of the best menus of the day, we've had in Colombia! The breakfast on site was per plate instead of a buffet, which meant it was freshly made.

This is a beautiful house with outstanding Mountain Views. You can see the dedication of the owner on every detail. It has everything one needs for a very comfortable stay. Premium mattress and linens, hot water, tasteful decorations and lots of small details. Yuca restaurant is a few steps away and we enjoyed great breakfast and dinners. Tayrona Park is 10 minutes walking distance.

Treehouse Tayrona se nachází v destinaci Santa Marta a nabízí venkovní bazén, zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a výhled do zahrady. Everything nice, excellent service and very nice pool. Super recommended!
