Nice and clean tent with comfortable beds and good lighting. Delicious and fresh food. Very friendly staff. Game drive was excellent. We hope to come back some time in the future.

Safari camp with a swimming pool overlooking the river. Very close to the landing strip. Very convenient location. F&B: very good options on the menu. Changes daily ( a la carte) and when camp is full they set up a buffet. We tried both. Fully enjoyable. Game drives are included. Great value. Excellent experienced guides (Raphael was informative, patient, a careful driver and a great conversationist) The camp staff were super accommodating and very approachable. They brought a fridge to our tent when we informed them there wasn't one. Housekeeping is impeccable, room was spotless at all times. Nice gesture of hot water bottles in the bed at night. Drink requests delivered to the room early in the morning before game drive. A wonderful experience. Excellent overall

Peal mara was excellent! super friendly staff, responsive, polite, helpful. The tent was luxurious, clean, comfortable, safe! There were people walking us back and forth in case wildlife appears in the way. Sunset and sunset views were also top. The people working there are always available to accommodate your every need. The whole place is built in respect to the surrounding nature. The safari driver, Sietoti, and Rachel, a trainee, were experienced and educated, and was able to identify every corner of Maasai Mara and provide rich information about nature and wildlife during our daily safari game drives. A truly amazing duo who made our trip unforgettable. They really took care of us. Also, the food was delicious, chef was excellent! I would definitely go back again!

Even though we arrived by car late at night and during a storm, we were warmly welcomed with dinner and blankets. The tent was clean and comfortable, and camp location was excellent. With only 4 tents and 1 large house spaced out from each other, no fences and no other camps around, it is so peaceful (apart from the animals of course!) and a perfect escape from city life. We recommend booking game drives via the camp too - our guide Nickson was incredible and we saw all the animals we had hoped to find. Kobe Mara staff did a fantastic job and everyone was so friendly and kind. As a bonus, we were treated to a group dinner as all guests were departing on the same day, featuring a Maasai celebration. A special thanks to our waiter Jonathan and the manager Sammy for everything :)

From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed by Valery and her amazing team. We stayed in a beautifully designed, cozy room (everything inside was chosen with care and filled with comfort) The atmosphere at Emboo is magical: peaceful nature, evenings around the fire on soft poufs under the stars, delicious meals, and a deep connection to the nature. We would especially like to thank: Felix, our safari guide — calm, deeply experienced, and one of the best in his field. He made every game drive feel personal and insightful. Tobin, the photographer, full of passion and soul. Every photo he took captured something deeper than just an image. Rhoda, who looked after us during every breakfast, lunch, and dinner with incredible kindness and attention. And Pedro, who always brought a smile, kindness, and genuine care. he made us feel truly welcomed. The little things made, like hot water bottles waiting in our room at night and even placed in the safari jeep for those chilly early drives. These thoughtful touches left a lasting impression. The entire team at Emboo is united by true hospitality, care for nature, and love for what they do. We’re already home, but our hearts are still with you at Emboo. Mara River Camp is located on the North West boundary of the Maasai Mara National Reserve overlooking the Mara River. It features a swimming pool and garden. I have stayed at Mara River Camp before and I will continue to stay there every time I come to the Mara. The location is fabulous, so many animals right in the camp, and right on the River Mara. The food is amazing and the staff is amazing. The rooms are great too.
