I am telling you guys! This is like a five-star hotel quality stay! I am travelling around Sri Lanka and this lodge, is the best decision I made! I stay at the double room that is on the second floor. The host welcome me when I arrive and take my life-threatening heavy luggage upstairs. And after I enter the room, I am like,”wooooooooow”. It’s a five star hotel, honestly. The big toilet and bathroom, clean and tidy with everything you needed. The TERRACE! Its fire!!! I could’ve shoot a music video here. All the plants are so well planted and design. That chill afternoon of me sitting in the terrace is going to be imprinted in my memory for as long as possible. I can tell by other guests face as well, when they are sitting on the swing beds in front of their rooms, they are having the best moments. I am fully refresh after a long journey around the island and sigiriya has made it to the list of my most favourite place. The breakfast is amazing !!! The host, he is an angel. He just looks like he had been trained in like top class hotel with all his service and manners. I loved it so much with the breakfast call, the arrangement and introduction for all the amazing activity around sigiriya. I went around the town with the tuktuk the host booked and the driver is friendly af! Showing me all those monkeys explaining the culture in sigiriya before I get to the rock. NO MOSQUITOS AT ALL.

Beautiful clean cool rooms in the jungle, hardly a need for the fan even because the trees and plants keep the rooms so cool. Lovely friendly and helpful family, delicious breakfasts and dinners if you choose to eat there. I highly recommend the home cooked rice and curry, it’s so tasty and the mum will cook it as spicy as you like (I like it spicy and it was so yummy compared to the bland ‘tourist curry’ they serve in a lot of the restaurants in Sri Lanka’) The son even showed me around the area, it really felt like home. Highly recommend!

Isanka Lion Lodge se nachází v destinaci Sigiriya a nabízí venkovní bazén, zahradu, sdílený lounge, terasu a výhled do zahrady. Majiteli jsou velmi milí a přátelští manželé, usměvaví a vždy ochotní pomoci. Pokoj krásný, čistý a na skvělém místě, jen kousek od Lion Rock. Bazén také super, osvětlený, bylo možné ho používat i za tmy. Jídlo skvělé, nebyl problém připravit nám snídani i velmi brzy ráno. Moc děkujeme a určitě doporučujeme.

Sigiri Lake Paradise nabízí zahradu, terasu a sdílenou kuchyň. Sigiriya skála je 5,7 km odtud. V ubytování je dostupné Wi-Fi zdarma ve všech prostorách a na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště. Honestly, the absolute highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka! Out of all 7 weeks in Sri Lanka our 3 nights here were the best, and it was 90% due to this Homestay!!! We felt amazingly at home! Chamika was WONDERFUL. He hiked up to pidurangula with us and brought us surprise coffee in a coconut, and didn’t ask for anything in return! We did a cooking class and ate some of the best food ever, and chamika went to swim in a lake with us! The room was as exactly as described with comfortable beds. The breakfast was amazing everyday and just laying on the rock with a view of the lake was stunning! Overall if I could rate this place 1000 stars I would! Thank you guys so much!

Back of Beyond - Pidurangala se nachází uprostřed přírodní krajiny a nabízí klidné útočiště ve městě Sigiriya. I loved the location, being far inside the wilderness. The boulder house we stayed in was very spacious and comfy and gave us an exceptional experience sleeping so close to nature. They had a private open shower in nature and provided hot water, which was amazing given that it was a bit chilly during our stay. The food was exceptionally tasty, and great service, and everyone was extremely welcoming and lovely and enthusiastic to show us around.
