We loved the overall vibe of this property. The communal spaces to eat are really nice and you feel a real hostel vibe even though the rooms are private. We loved the hotel beach that is easily accessible from the grounds. We stayed in the Estrella cabin that overlooked another quiet beach, so we’d fall asleep to the waves every night. There is a Toucan rescue who comes by a lot. I got to see her during my shower along with seeing a sloth from our balcony. I paid to get a massage done on site, and Josie did an amazing job! Owners and staff are also all extremely nice people.

So peaceful. The owners were amazing and so so kind. You can tell how much love goes into this place. If you're looking to relax, this is the spot!

Palmar beach Hostel accepts these cards and reserves the right to temporarily hold an amount prior to arrival. Thé environment around the hostel is amazing. Jungle and beautiful beach. I saw red frog, caïman and sloth. Nice staff , good food. Comfortable dorm bed. Feels like a resort.

Absolutely gorgeous location. We enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and relaxing. The small resort size contributed to friendly conversation amongst the international clientele. Staff was great and attentive to every need.

Beautiful grounds, perfect view of sunrise from the beach which is literally right outside the entrance to the place. Enjoyed our stay immensely! You do have to take taxi or public transit about 30 min from the Bocas Town to get to the location and go back for yours, taxi costs $15-20 and public transit if running (bus had repairs for two days we were here) costs $3.50-4.50/person.
