We loved this location - quaint, comfortable, and welcoming. The setting and the cabin were fabulous. Julian, our host was great. The cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and roomy, and the beds were comfortable. The wood-heated hot tub was fun. Guest could rent bikes, buy firewood, and 'shop' in the farm stall for fresh eggs, honey, wonderful homemade freezer meals, and much more There are several trails right out the front door that enable you to hike or mountain bike to a reserve with zebras and giraffes. We all wished we could have stayed longer! Thanks Julian!

Beautiful location with stunning views and nice walking trails. The cabins were very cosy. At night it got quite cold, but there was a fireplace in the bedroom and the staff put warm water bottles in the beds. The meals were great and so were the staff and the dogs! We had a great time here, highly recommended!

Montusi Mountain Lodge offers a bar and is located 44 km from Bergville. Guests receive free Wi-Fi access, a children's playground and a swimming pool. The Montusi Mountain Lodge is really beautiful. The lodge is beautifully located and elegantly designed. We enjoyed the scenic view so much. The bungalows are well maintained. It was really cozy in there. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast & dinner was the best we have had in ZA so far. We wish, we could have stayed longer!

Located around a privately owned lake with views of the Drakensberg mountain range, Sani Valley Nature Lodges offers secluded chalet accommodation in a tranquil setting with game viewing... It was so beautiful and peaceful here. Loved the outdoor jacuzzi and used it daily!

Location was great, staff were friendly and helpful, our check in and out was a pleasure, our room was clean and very comfortable, the outlook was fantastic and our breakfast was exceptional as was the service. The overall decor was lovely too! We certainly hope to return again.

We had such a relaxing stay at Winterton Country Lodge. The room was so thoughtfully and elegantly decorated and spotlessly clean. We appreciated the many extra blankets, the aircon & the electric blankets that kept us warm on the chilly nights. It was also lovely and quiet since the rooms are far off the road. There are generous common spaces and a large tv in the common lounge across from the bar that the owner said could be opened until 9pm. We also loved the freshly made breakfast. We’ll definitely be back the next time we come hiking in the Drakensberg!
