Riverside Guest Lodge offers panoramic views of Grobbelaars River and Swartberg Mountains. It offers air-conditioned rooms and wooden cottages. As we went out for dinner, the location of the Lodge was very central, so we could just walk to the best local restaurant. The service of the host was very informative and helpful. Made the next day travel a highlight. A complementary carwash came to us just at the right time. Thank you.

The room is perfectly cleaned, and we felt like at home talking with you and your wife in the dinner room, next to the wood stove and stroking your lovely dogs! And last but not least, the dinner and the breakfast were amazing!

Incredibly fabulous stay in the middle of nowhere with an amazing opportunity to see African animals thriving in a conscientious reserve with a superb and knowledgeable guide.

He was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and took extra care to arrange thoughtful gifts for a special birthday celebration, which was such a delightful surprise. The lodge itself was charming, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations, and it’s clear that Richard genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. We couldn’t recommend Duckpond Lodge more and will definitely be returning!
