Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is an authentic and contrasting natural space, conveniently located along Route 62, a mere 3.5 hours from Cape Town in the arid Little Karoo. Perfect Safari experience on the private game reserve. We nearly saw all of the Big 5 and many other animals. The animals are in general very relaxed because Sanbona is a non profit organization and therefore the pressure on the animals is held on a low level with limited people and trucks. The ranger was well educated and taught us many interesting things. The tented lodge was very beautiful. Highly recommendable!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Duckpond Lodge! From the moment we arrived, Richard went above and beyond to make our visit truly special. He was incredibly communicative leading up to our stay and took extra care to arrange thoughtful gifts for a special birthday celebration, which was such a delightful surprise. The lodge itself was charming, comfortable, and perfectly maintained. Every detail of our stay exceeded our expectations, and it’s clear that Richard genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. We couldn’t recommend Duckpond Lodge more and will definitely be returning!

Karoo 62 Escapes se nachází v destinaci Ladismith a poskytuje celoročně otevřený venkovní bazén, bezplatné Wi-Fi a neplacené soukromé parkoviště pro hosty, kteří přijedou autem. Very nice chalet with wonderfull view. Also a good place for more than one night :) Thank you for water, firewood and the warm and cozy chalet.
