Besides they spoke English perfectly, so it was easy to communicate. There were three types of breakfast to choose from: Continental, Sri Lankan and Indian.

The Langdale is a slice of heaven. True old world charm, in the most beautiful old historic hotel where you feel as if you are a guest in someone's home. Small and understated. The view from the balcony room is unforgettable. A place to enjoy a good cup of tea, looking at the tea plantations that surround you. And you can also see the historic Radella cricket ground from the hotel. My only regret is that I had to come alone on this trip, so couldn't enjoy the beautiful lawn tennis court.
