We were drawn in by the vintage neon sign, but surprised by the modern, apartment-like facilities. Everything has been completely redone in 2020, yet the motel dates from 1946 and is part of "classic" Route 66. There is a lounge on site and even a d.j. playing that night, yet we had no noise or disturbance whatsoever in our room. Complimentary drinks, and nice pool to sit round (it was November so too cool to go in!) The staff could not have been more helpful. A 10-minute walk to Old Town Albuquerque and its plaza, church, plus a great restaurant. Wish I was there now!
