Honestly, this was the best room I have ever stayed in. We were in the Studio Executive and we had all the comfort we needed and more: make up remover, washing dryer + laundry detergent… It was spacious, clean, new and… perfect! It was a true pleasure to stay in at night just to enjoy our room. Plus, Barry and Donna were just exceptionally kind and welcoming. If you’re in Dunedin, Amross Motel is a must! Beechwood is situated on George Street, within the North Dunedin Heritage Precinct, a designated special character area. Modern, clean and spacious apartment. Has a full kitchen and large bathroom. Comfortable beds. You can easily spend a couple of days here.

This place is a real gem. It's neat, tidy, clean, well equipped and a relaxing place to stay for a night or two. It's off the main road on the far side of the river from Roxburgh which makes it very peaceful. We would stay again when next time in NZ.
