Shared rooms with tatami and a lot of space where to sit, kitchen, toilets... Check in and check out is electronic and fast, you do not have to communicate with anyone.

This guesthouse is hidden gem during our 2 night stay at Kusatsu onsen with only 7-8 rooms & the environment is very cozy. The guesthouse was newly renovated & everything like new. We booked 4pax stay & the rooms condition is excellent. The staff service is good. We love it very much the onsen facility on this guesthouse. Breakfast provided were excellent. Nevertheless, this guesthouse is highly recommend during your visit to Kusatsu Onsen.

Everything was amazing! The location is the best in town, but it still quiet. There are two types of hot springs in onsen, sauna and cold bath, which was amazing to have. I had the best breakfast in Japan. The owner is a lovely person.

It was unfogetable eperience- we met the owner and it was amazing to see how past meets modern Japan. More then 500 years onsen was first esperience in my life also we enjoyed first time private onsen with my husband .We had breakfast and diner served in room and it was unforgettable , especially egg cooked in onsen! Amazing service Great staff, they are super polite, helpful and guiding. Shuttle service is available and quite flexible. Excellent onsen. Very clean, stylish. Sky bath is rocky, the view is breathtaking. Very clean facility. Food is very delicious. Many different stuff in one meal. You don't need a lunch actually. Breakfast is also quite loaded. Also they leave small Japanese sweets for afternoon :) Great ryokan experience, very comfortable beds, yukatas are very stylish and comfortable. View is amazing. The region is very nice for hiking.

This hotel is close by Otaki no Yu, and reasonably walkable to the center of the village. The space was clearly remodeled recently and so the rooms are super nice, clean, and it's clear that the hotel has spent great attention to detail! I also really liked the ease of use of the onsen facilities. I have been to many japanese style inns and this was the most clean, orderly, and good working condition that I've encountered. I also thought it was nice that there are only 4 rooms here so it never felt busy or crowded. The staff were also all very kind and helpful. They made a great breakfast both days, with good variety of dishes and high quality of ingredients. I had a great stay and would definitely choose this hotel again!

Sekizenkan Kashotei is highly recommended. It is my favorite hot-spring hotel. Reception, accommodation, dinner, breakfast, hot-spring,.. etc, everything is flawless.

Houshi Onsen Chojukan se nachází u řeky Houshi a nabízí veřejné termální lázně, ubytování v japonském stylu s bezplatným Wi-Fi a japonskou kuchyni. Our fourth stay here and we are still absolutely smitten with this place. Comfortable rooms, wonderful staff, delicious food, and the best baths in the prefecture, all wrapped up in a cozy, creaky, glowing inn nestled deep in the woods.

Oyado Tamaki nabízí vnitřní i venkovní termální koupele a tradiční zahradu s lavičkami, kde si hosté mohou posedět a relaxovat. Absolutely fantastic. This was a big splurge for us, and to be honest we were quite nervous about the cost. As soon as we arrived the service was amazing. The room is beautiful, the hot spring as well. The evening meal was the best we had in Japan, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff attentive and kind. Simply put, if you’re like us and treating yourself - don’t hesitate to book this place, it was one of the best experiences we had in the Japan.
