Our stay at Lake Front Yala Safari will definitely remain in our memories for a long time, thanks to the warmth and kindness of the family who runs this place. The atmosphere was genuinely homely and welcoming. The rooms were clean, and the food they served was absolutely delicious and fresh. The safari was professionally organized, and it was clear that our driver was very experienced. We saw a wide variety of animals, and we were lucky enough to spot leopards several times – once from a very close distance. We highly recommend this place and truly regret that we couldn’t stay longer.

Very nice and clean rooms. We stayed in a bungalow in the middle of the jungle. The bungalow had nice high ceilings, a little porch and aircondition. The hosts are very nice and made us feel very welcome. We had a nice Dinner surrounded by oil lamps in the middle of nature. The hosts organized a half Day Safari for us and packed a nice breakfast with fruits and sandwiches. The place is very close to the park entrance so we started at 5:30 am bit were still one of the first jeeps in the park. The beds are comfortablewe slept really well.

"Tranquil Wild truly lives up to its name! We stayed in a *Deluxe Double Room with breathtaking lake views* and woke up to peacocks dancing on the lawn. The staff, ***especially Anne (owner) and Amal, were exceptional,they arranged a safari to Yala Block 6 (just 10 mins away!) where we spotted elephants and leopards. The **food was a highlight**: authentic Sri Lankan curries and Western options, all served in an open-air dining area. Don’t miss the **sunset boat ride on the lake**—pure magic! Clean, spacious rooms and a serene pool sealed our perfect stay. We’ll be back!"

We really enjoyed our stay. The room was lovely, the place was friendly and we had a great time. Great communication between Sam’s place and us before we travelled ensuring all our needs were met when we arrived. They were very helpful and provided us with information and recommendations for things to do in the area. I would recommend and we will be booking again soon. Thank you Sam!

This is one of the best stays. Place is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations. We booked the cabana with the private pool and facilities of that was extremely satisfying. Special comment should be given on the customer care of the entire staff including the management. They paid attention to every bit of our requests. Food was delicious. We will definitely visit again.

Redstone Cottage Gal Oya se nachází v destinaci Galgamuwa a nabízí zahradu, terasu, bar a výhled na hory. Na místě je k dispozici soukromé parkoviště a dostupné je také bezplatné Wi-Fi. This was honestly one of the most welcoming and thoughtful places we’ve ever stayed. From the moment we arrived, Sydney and his team looked after us so well. The chef asked what we fancied and was very accommodating. He cooked the most amazing curry, lunch and honey hoppers for breakfast (which we were introduced to and absolutely loved). They even gave us a packed lunch for our elephant boat safari, which they organised, along with a great driver. There were little extra touches that made such a different, like beers in the fridge when we arrived (and they went to get more when we ran out), a cooking class with a local family, a really interesting forest walk with an indigenous guide and when we asked if we could do some laundry they sorted it for us with no trouble at all. The cottage is in a beautiful, quiet spot with amazing Mountain View’s, a perfect place to switch off. Would highly recommend supporting this amazing project. Such a great experience 😊😊

Perfect place for a quite relaxed nature getaway. The host and his family are super nice and welcoming. He showed us around some beautifull places around the village. The place is full of a wide variety of birds . The food was some amazing home cooked local srilankan cuisine. Perfect place relatively untouched by mass tourism.
