Kwabahal Boutique Hostel was my preferred accomodation in Kathmandu. Simply because the location was perfect. It is tucked-in in an alley and it has a nice garden/cafe to relax in. The street sound is muted so one can enjoy the serenity of the place. Secondly, all the staff display such heartwarming hospitality with endless smiles. A huge plus for me was also the clean and spotless showers and toilets, the cleanest by far during my visit in Nepal.

We visited Nepal for the first time, and I’m incredibly happy that we chose to stay at this hotel! The staff is amazingly kind and helpful, the rooms are clean and beautiful, the breakfasts and food at the restaurant are delicious, and the rooftop terrace offers a stunning view of all of Kathmandu! The staff also helped us a lot with tours and exploring the city — thank you so much! When I return to Kathmandu, I will 1000% stay here again!

Pretty new hotel with lovely sunny balcony rooms, nice garden and proper restaurant which offers very good quality breakfast, lunch and dinner for more than reasonable price ( 10% discount for guests ). Rooms are spacious and clean, provided with a/c , Netflix, free drinking bottled water everyday. We booked one night and we stayed one more.

Hotel Jampa is set in Thamel and provides air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. The property is 2.9 km from Kathmandu Durbar Square and 3.1 km from Swayambhunath Temple. Hotel Jampa was exceptionally well located right in the middle of Thamel. Close to absolutely everything. At times you could hear other guests moving around outside the rooms, but for the price and location, you couldn’t beat it. Breakfast in the courtyard was delightful. Every single staff member we came across was super friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.

They let me leave half of my stuff there before going trekking. Place is nice and clean with a lovely bar and delicious breakfast. I would highly recomend this place 🙏

The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great advice and tips on what to see/when on my first trip to Nepal. Tulsi was also extremely helpful organising my trip to Kathmandu Valley (Nagarkot) from the hotel, ensuring I had a safe and enjoyable trip to Nepal! The location of the hotel is also brilliant, situated in a quiet and clean area where there is less car traffic, but also a 5 min walk from Thamel's bustling streets. The breakfast buffet in the morning had great options, ranging from Indian style, Nepali style and also American style breakfast options - the options were tasty and a great start to the day!
