Michael is willing to help out new arrivals to the city with useful information and the breakfasts are unlike what you'll find elsewhere. Cusco tends to be a hub for one's travels - running into other guests that we'd made friends with during a previous stay was a very welcome surprise - everyone returned to this hotel after outings to Puno, Pisac and Aguas Calientes (MP) etc. If I could give 15 stars for the overall experience, I would.

Staff was so nice and everything was just so good and nice there. I also get late late check out for 13 soles and not like 4pm, but i was allowed to stay until evening. Thank for all! Hot water and soap in a shower also. Front of the hostel is cheap and good laundry, 3 soles per kilogram.

Rómulo and Gelga have really created a beautiful and heartwarming space. The house is very modern and has all the facilities you may need (free wifi, hot water, own private bathroom, toiletries, hot water bottles on cold days, free delicious breakfast, etc) but on top of it all it has a special kind of charm. Templo de la Luna is basically in your backyard and the whole area where the house is located has such a magical energy. It’s a little far from the center, which makes it super quiet and peaceful but you can get to San Blas or Plaza de Armas within 20 minutes walk following the beautiful path of the inca trail. If you don’t feel like walking back up (it’s a good hike!) you can easily get an uber for 10-15 soles. From the minute you step foot in the house you feel extremely welcome. You can feel the love and attention they’ve put into every detail and it truly feels like staying with family. Rómulo is incredibly knowledgeable about the quechua and inca culture and took me for an amazing walk to templo de la luna and zona X. He does tours too, I would totally recommend! Gelga is always so kind, she cooked me rice soup and some home remedies when I wasn’t feeling well and helped me with my laundry. They’re always happy to help with anything you may need (advice, booking taxis, tours, etc) and with a big smile on their face. If you get the chance to share a lunch with them, I encourage you to! The food is so delicious and it truly feels like sharing a meal with your family. You will honestly not find a better place to stay in Cusco, especially for that price! If you’re looking for a place where you can feel safe, cozy and at home, I couldn’t recommend it more. Whenever I’m back in Cusco I’ll be staying again, no doubt! The host was absolutely lovely, she was extremely accommodating and gave us lots of helpful suggestions. She let us completely relax and stored our baggage for us when we were out before a flight. The room was very comfortable and kept clean. Fantastic value.

We’ve been traveling around Peru for about a month, and I can say this is the best hotel we stayed across the whole country! It is exceptionally clean (this is not what Peru can boast)! The bed is very comfortable. The breakfast is decent and lunch boxes are provided. If you feel cold, there’s a heater in the room, though the blanket is really warm! If you go to Machupicchu tour, you can store your suitcases in the hotel! The staff is just great!!! They communicate with you, help you, try to make you feel home! And finally, this is a very tranquil place! This is 15 min walk from Cusco city center - so there’s no noise, no traffic, if you wanna good sleep there’s a perfect fit! Walking to the city center is not that much uphill, just may be 2 small blocks up - so it’s very comfy. One more bonus - beautiful terrace with a view!

The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the shower water was nice and hot. The interior of the building was also very beautiful and well kept. There was a nice view of the mountains from the room, and the owner was very nice and welcoming.
