First of all, the family is incredibly kind and welcoming. Honestly, it was one of my best stays ever. Even though Camiguin itself was just okay for me, this place made the whole experience amazing. I stayed in the dorm – but it doesn’t feel like a typical dorm. You get a big, comfy bed in a big room, with plenty of personal space. There’s a fully equipped kitchen where you can cook your own meals – just buy groceries and you’re good to go. Save a lot of money The place is super clean – they clean constantly, probably more than needed! I also rented a motorbike from them in a good price and great condition. The location is right in front of the beach, about 10 minutes driving from town. But honestly, there’s not much to do in town anyway, so it’s not a big deal. Summary: If you’re coming to Camiguin – YOU HAVE TO STAY HERE!

Wow. What a beautifull setting. Garden is absolutely stunning. Very large bathroom. Hot and cold shower. Nice room. No aircon BUT no problem whatsoever withbthe fan. We sleep very good. Also there was a kitchen and a nice sittingarea with fan. Only 2 minutes walk from the beach. The host was superfriendly, kind and very informative if we had questions. The price was very cheap if you c what we got. We stayed in another room on the island before and we paid almost double. Maybe because there is no aircon.

The place is so peaceful and the reception area is a great place to hang out. I love the retreat vibes it has, morning walk with nature, beachfront, and hammocks. It is also near to Alex Restaurant, my favorite in the whole Island. Just rent a motorbike and the island is yours to explore! Camiguin is simply my favorite island since my visit.

This was just amazing! Truly relaxing stay. I really recommend to try tai massage. We stayed in lower garden room, the open bathroom was wow. Also I really recommend to have dinner in the hotel, kitchen is very tasty. Lunch options are a bit limited, mostly nice small bites. Hotel offers free pick up/drop off from/to airport in case of booking more than 5 nights. Staff and owners are very attentive

Balihao Resort se nachází v Mambajau a má venkovní bazén, zahradu, soukromou pláž a terasu. Tento rezort nabízí bar a pokoje s klimatizací a s vlastní koupelnou. This is an exquisite property with private villas , an excellent restaurant and very lovely staff. The villas are large , airy , each with its own pool and balcony, from where you can see some breathtaking sunsets. The outdoor bathroom is an added gem . If you're lucky to be here on Saturday , you can do yoga facing the sea. There is also a small beach where you can go a snorkel if you like. the restaurant is hands down the best on the island - the menu is tastefully done with some well crafted cocktails too. They use local ingredients , and have some really amazing dishes and drinks. everything about this hotel is beautiful, the location , the decor, the view and the property. More than a simple homestay: Ray and Samantha (and of course the fantastic cook Ata Mercy!) made us feel part of their family. The house is very clean, close to the port, in a beautiful green area. The bedroom was huge and the bed so comfy!! But more than everything else I appreciated this sense of home. They invited us to eat together every day and it was the best filipino food ever!! Chatting, sharing ideas and life stories, karaoke nights...it was such a pleasant stay! Travelling from one place to the other might be tiring, at Vasquez's we could cook in their kitche, relax and be at home! Thank you 1000 times! Azzurra & Chloe
