Its a super lovely place, way better than the pictures. The personal is amazing, friendly, kind and always ready to help with a smile (special mention for Ibrahim, Mohamed and Ahmad). Its EXTREMELY clean, the cleanest place I have been in Egypt so far. I will definitely repeat it and Aswan best place in Egypt. Thank you all

Amazing stay and honestly one of the best customer service experiences in Egypt. Rooms are super cute and cosy and was so Amazing to wake up to the sunrise right o the river. All of the staff went above and beyond and the food was simply delicious. I chose to eat there often rather than go to other restaurants as it was some of the best food I ate during my month in Egypt. I'm coming back with a group later in the year and even gave them a shout out on IG which is rare. Highly recommend 👌

The owner really cared, follow up our arrival and also arranged for us a taxi to fetch us from the dinner that he suggested and provide boat to the homestay and also help to pay cash for the my dinner because I'm cashless. Next day I settle everything with cash after check out. The breakfast was good.

Everything about this property exceeded our expectations. When we got to the hotel, we were greeted by Pedro with “welcome home”. And home it was for us for the next few days. Everyone working at the hotel was so lovely, polite and helpful. They have excelled in hospitality. They made us feel like we were home. The property itself and the surroundings were quaint and picturesque. The food served was soo delicious. I have travelled to nearly 60 countries and this place was one of the highlights of my travels. We left Artika Wadi Kiki with our hearts full with hopes to visit again and I cannot wait.

This was our first stop in our trip to Egypt and we were so impressed. TLDR: There is no better place to stay in Aswan. Muhammed, the host, turned out to be way more than just a host. He assisted us with the bookings of all our trips and helped us navigate Aswan. If you have any questions or would like assistance with bookings ask Muhammed. He arranged our pick-up from the Aswan Airport and our transfer from Aswan to Luxor. The prices he proposed are very fair. With regards to the rooms, it was clean and spacious and we even had our own small balcony. It is not a 5* hotel, but it is a very nice guest house that really gives you a Egyptian living experience. Esra, our Hostess, was wonderfully friendly. She prepared our breakfast every morning and we were made to feel part of the family. The Elephantine Island is very safe and you can walk from one point to the other in between houses without any problems. There is a public ferry that takes you from and to the island throughout the day at a fee of 10EGP per person. There is no need to take a private boat. The people on the island (and Egypt in general) are very friendly. Many want to sell you something, but if you say no with a smile they will not hassle you to much and you might strike up a fun conversation. Please do yourself a favour and stay at this guest house.

Kafana and his staff takes care to guests' needs. Everything is handled with care and love. For any problem it is best to talk to them because they will help you to solve it. The room is very cozy, clean and the beds are comfortable. You sleep on the banks of the Nile, in complete tranquility far away from traffic noise. The breakfast is very good and energizes most of the day. The restaurant is excellent, we ate typical quality Nubian dishes. From the terrace you can enjoy the view of fantastic sunsets while enjoying very good drinks (fresh fruit juices and hibiscus karkadè recommended). Kafana organized several tours for us (Abu Simbel, Aswan, Nubian island) at a very good price compare with others and everything with precision and punctuality. Thanks to Kafana and his staff for the nice stay. We recommend the experience at Kafana Guest House and hope to return soon. PS: thanks for prepare us the breakfast at early time when we leave!

    The host Tamer was very attentive & friendly. He arranged our Abu Simbel trip and airport transfer for very competitive prices. The guesthouse has a very cute terrace where you can chill & meet the other guests. Rooms are also good value for price. Note that the guesthouse is located in a village, so in order to get to downtown you need to walk to the ferry station (only 5 min walk), but it only costs 10 egp and takes 5 mins and was one of the most authentic parts of the experience.

    Everything, food is superior, in fact people come from all over aswan just to eat at this place and we were actually living there :) The whole island is really nice, veggie gardens around, some happy dogs and very happy cats, staff really helpful and friendly

    We really LOVED the location and the people! The hotel is host by amazing people that help you in all the ways possible! The place is really nice, colorful and comfortable. The restaurant has a vast variety of amazing food and is well served, prices are competitive and just. The administration helped us in every way: to arrive to the hotel, to book an amazing tour on the area, even to have a taxi for the airport.

    Everything from the location, staff, facilities, room was so lovely and memorable. It's like an oasis in the middle of the desert. The room was very spacious and the bathroom was huge. The garden outside and the dog Bobby added a special charm to the place. The highlight of the breakfast was the fig jam/morabba. Abdou/Abdulla, a delightful young man, took wonderful care of us!

    Everything was amazing, I loved the location as it is close to everywhere you can go to the Aswan center by a felucca (it’s faster and accessible all day along) … When you’re in Nuba live like the Nubians 😊 P.S. it was actually pet friendly, our cat enjoyed his time 😻

    The manager, Mustafa (and his family), has a great heart and is lovely to share some words with him. Very kind and trustable person, he helped us to arrange Abu Simbel transport and also the cruise between Aswan and Luxor at very competitive prices.
