Best part of our stay, two dinners & one lunch we had at King Jamaica restaurant, on River, where the jetty lands for the island ie 10 mts walk. superb Nile views, great Fish & succulent beef meals. No alchohol, value for money, great music.

A highlight of my 11-day trip through Egypt! After experiencing all kinds of accommodations—including a luxurious all-inclusive five-star resort in Hurghada—this was hands-down my favorite hotel and the one I absolutely have to recommend. The location is excellent, and thanks to the warm hospitality of the owner, I even got to enjoy a rare experience: swimming at a sandy beach on the Nile River. Yes, a beach on the Nile! Each day we enjoyed delicious local Egyptian food for breakfast and dinner, made with fresh vegetables. The owner would personally introduce the dishes and explain how to eat them, which made each meal feel special. And let’s not forget Cooper, the adorable dog who kept us company during our stay. The room was a bit small, but the staff were incredibly kind and made everything feel effortless. We had a 3:40 AM departure to visit Abu Simbel, and the staff were already up waiting for us—with a packed breakfast ready and even a boat to take us to the dock. Not once did anyone mention tips or extra charges. If you've traveled in Egypt, you know how exhausting it can be to constantly deal with price changes and repeated tipping. Here, everything felt honest and respectful—you tip if and when you feel like it. That level of trust and kindness made a big difference.

Lovely location right on the Nile and in the center of the lovely Nubian village. Our room was large and spacious and the balcony looking over the Nile was superb. It was so nice to relax there with a coffee and watch the activity.on the river. Samir the manager is very kind and helpful. The first night there was a storm and he prepared food for us to eat in our room. The second night we ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Upon arrival we were offered a welcome drink and our Abu Simbel trip was well organised with breakfast to take with us ( and beautiful). Internet at this hotel was the best we had in our entire 14 day stay travelling in Egypt . This is a charming little hotel , beautiful traditional decor, great staff. We would stay again

The view is the best you will find in the Nubian Village. Food is great - we spent the three days eating at the hotel. The staff is friendly and very attentive to make our experience great. They even organized for us on our last day a candle light dinner. Special thanks to Hammou!

Hostitel byl velmi vstříctný. Jídlo bylo vynikající. Pokud znovu navštívíme Asuán, opět se ubytujeme zde. Mohu jen doporučit.

Everything is handled with care and love. For any problem it is best to talk to them because they will help you to solve it. The room is very cozy, clean and the beds are comfortable. You sleep on the banks of the Nile, in complete tranquility far away from traffic noise. The breakfast is very good and energizes most of the day. The restaurant is excellent, we ate typical quality Nubian dishes. From the terrace you can enjoy the view of fantastic sunsets while enjoying very good drinks (fresh fruit juices and hibiscus karkadè recommended). Kafana organized several tours for us (Abu Simbel, Aswan, Nubian island) at a very good price compare with others and everything with precision and punctuality. Thanks to Kafana and his staff for the nice stay. We recommend the experience at Kafana Guest House and hope to return soon. PS: thanks for prepare us the breakfast at early time when we leave!
