Our flight got delayed, and they were waiting for us at the pier to help us with our bags and find our way late at night. They answer all our questions about activities, prices, and directions. The hotel itself is very charming in an interesting location, heart of Nubian village, river front. The room was comfy and very clean, exactly like in the photos. We felt very relaxed and welcomed. The room was silent good sound isolation, we’ve stayed at the last room of the hotel corridor. The restaurant was excellent, big portions, great fresh local products, exquisite cuisine. It was the best kebab we had in Egypt. It has also beautiful views to the River. First, we came from Cairo with some stomach illness and the manager of the hotel Samir and all hotel staff did everything to make us felt better, he even went to a drugstore and bought us medicine and gave us as a gift. Thank you very Samir and Hamo, restaurant manager, your sympathy and attention made all the difference. Hamo also offered us local tea for all discomfort every day and it has helped a lot. Samir booked some transfers for us, they were all good and responsible drivers. Last, we had to leave the hotel early morning for a trip and they prepared us a breakfast box, with good variety and quality products, even boiled eggs. I don’t understand why other guests complain about it. Bottom line, I loved it and totally recommend.

ABU Guest House se nachází v destinaci Asuán a poskytuje terasu, nekuřácké ubytování a bezplatné Wi-Fi ve všech prostorách. Jen 23 km odtud je Aga Khan Mausoleum. Great location on an island. The accommodation was clean and spacious. Very nice host Abu. Nevertheless, we were very late he was there in the middle of the night to give us a boat ride to the guesthouse and offer some water, juice and fruits. He arranged also a morning boat for us. In the afternoon when we were back from the day trip there was a lunch waiting for us with everything we agreed on the day before. We already had our day trips organized prior to arrival, but I would absolutely trust him to organize activities around Aswan.

The room is big and clean with private bathroom. The terrasse is very charming and on the Nile river, with in the desert view on the other side and a few minutes by boat to the botanic garden. Ahmed is the kindest host I’ve had. He helped me a lot with my visits in Aswan but also with the organisation of my trips to Luxor and Abu Simbel. He is very well connected with the Aswan community and I could organize my visits directly with him which made it so easy to enjoy the time in Aswan. A big plus, at the hostel, there are canoe available from the terrasse to enjoy solo trips in the Nile. Very cool.

We opted for the taxi service and were met at the airport by a lovely person (sorry, I’ve forgotten all names!) who got us there while pointing out all the local sights. On arriving, what a lovely place! Artika feels absolutely serene, you have the Nile right next to you, and it’s all so quiet. Food was absolutely delicious (with fantastic vegetarian and vegan options), and the drinks were great too. Everyone working was absolutely lovely, and so helpful and caring. Always willing to help with anything you could possibly think of or need. Blissful. They had a few really cute and friendly dogs and puppies as well, but were also always ready to move them away for someone in our group who was scared of dogs. Rooms were really spacious and the beds are huge! Overall, an absolute pleasure to stay here, and would love to come back again! Thank you so much for everything, to all the staff at Artika.

Hostitel byl velmi vstříctný. Jídlo bylo vynikající. Pokud znovu navštívíme Asuán, opět se ubytujeme zde. Mohu jen doporučit.
