We had arrived at Gupta Guest House tired and unwell due to spending one month at the Kumbh Mela. Mr and Mrs Gupta were extremely accommodating, allowing us to stay two extra nights though we didn’t have bookings, they acted most humanely seeing our condition and juggled their guest list to accommodate us. The rooms were clean, hot water available 24 hours, great cafe with extensive menu, peaceful vibe, close to the Mahabodhi temple. They fulfilled our every request. Best part was that they do not run their guest house as merely a business, but make sure their guests are well taken care of.
