We spent 4 days and we would definitely like to come back to On the Mekong Resort. Henry, the owner, is a fantastic host. His staff is also very kind and well prepared. We really felt at home. The property is located right on the bank of the Mekong river, providing a fantastic location for watching the sunset. We loved the abundant breakfast, the pool and the easy going mood.

The Jam Boutique Hotel is a lovely little property in Luang Prabang that offers a truly luxurious experience at a budget-friendly price. We stayed in one of the sleek villas by the lotus pond, with a private outdoor bathtub in the lush yard. Waking up to the sights and sounds of nature every morning was such a treat. It was also the perfect spot to relax after our daily excursions in Luang Prabang. Its proximity to the night market and local restaurants makes it an excellent base for exploring the city. The staff are incredibly kind and always happy to help. We really enjoyed the free bicycles available to explore the streets of Luang Prabang. We also rented a scooter from the property for a ride to the waterfall, which was a fantastic experience. The property itself is incredibly beautiful, with a very relaxing pool that's open untill 11pm, making it perfect for a late night swim. It is beautifully appointed, has well-maintained rooms and serves up a wholesome, hearty breakfast that set us up perfectly for the day. Moreover, it’s an incredibly peaceful and quiet spot — soaking in the clear, crisp Luang Prabang air, with its clean, unpolluted atmosphere and bright blue skies, makes it even more special.

You can literally jump into the pool from your room, take a swim and get out to be back in your room again (We didn't do it because it was December, but definitely do it if your are in Laos during the hotter months). The rooms are spacious and perfect for couples. The staff is warm, polite and always there to attend to your requests. We loved the regular supply of delicious mangoes in the breakfast everyday! I have stayed in many high-end hotels with generic breakfast, but the breakfast here tasted better, even if the breakfast spread is not huge. I found an adorable cat sitting outside our room in the balcony. The cat didn't want to leave us, and neither did we, but cat lovers can expect a pleasant surprise, though not everyday. The location is just the right distance from the center of Luan Prabang, which can be quite crowded over the weekends. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is a great option.

NamKhan Horses Stables nabízí zahradu, terasu a sdílenou kuchyň. Noční trh je 5,2 km odtud. K dispozici je sdílená koupelna s kompletním vybavením včetně sprchy a bezplatných toaletních potřeb. Loved the place! So peaceful and close to the nature and horses. The whole staff was super friendly and wonderful. Stayed in the yurt and the bed was so comfortable. Stayed one night and went horseback riding the next morning. Had such a great time here and wishing to be back soon.

The family that run the hostel are amazing, and they have created such a friendly and social atmosphere. The breakfast is different and delicious every morning. The family dinner 3 times a week is a great way to meet fellow travelers, and the food is delicious. The space is clean, the location is convenient, and the beds are comfortable. They also help at a local orphanage, so it feels great supporting a business run by such beautiful people! This is the very best hostel I have ever stayed in!

Opravdu velice vstřícný personál - resp.majitelé, pár. Oba mluví dobře anglicky, pomohou s objednáním výletů vč.pick upu, jízdenek, ... poradi, pokud sami neví, zjistí - ochotně, bez problému, rychlá komunikace i po mailu. Chutná snídaně - sandwich s vejcem, salát, okurka. Celý den k dispozici voda, čaj, inst.káva ... + vybavená kuchyň vč.lednice. Bydlim ve smíšené ložnici - prostorné palandy oddělené závěsy pro více soukromí. Zamykatelné menší skříňky.. K disp. 2 koupelny- srpcha+wc - menší, ale pohodlné a vše čisté. Nelze nezmínit příjemné společné zázemí - zvdušné, stinné, útulné + venkovní terasa. Za mě - nečekaně dobrý poměr cena/ kvalita!!

The airport shuttle service was timely and affordable, making my late-night arrival stress-free. Checking in felt personalized- no waiting, no paperwork fuss. My corner room had extra windows, flooding it with morning light. Departure was just as smooth with private check-out. Throughout, staff were proactive: restocking towels, and suggesting new dining spots. This level of attentiveness turned a simple stay into a standout travel memory.
