We booked an executive room so it was quite spacious. The hotel was in a quiet but convenient place near the attractions and within walking distance to restaurants etc. The owner was a delight and the staff were very friendly and caring. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well.

Really nice hotel to stay, super clean, in an excellent location. The hotel is nicely decorated, , I was impressed with the beautiful wooden curved furniture and lampshades, it was a feeling like staying in a beautiful castle. The staff was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Overnight in the hotel was a very pleasant surprise. The room was nice, clean and comfortable with a wonderful view. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent, the menu has something for every taste, and the stuff was very friendly. It was a good choice.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I stayed in a suite at Forest Park Hotel and had a truly memorable experience. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered stunning views of the surrounding forest. The hot tub in the bathroom was a delightful touch, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The peaceful atmosphere made it an ideal retreat. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. And the breakfast? Simply amazing — fresh, varied, and delicious, setting the perfect tone for the day. Nearby are Kruja Castle, a historic fortress offering panoramic views and a glimpse into Albania’s rich past, and the Kruja Bazaar, a charming spot filled with traditional shops selling handcrafted goods and local treats. It was a wonderful blend of relaxation and cultural immersion. Highly recommended!

We were very satisfied with our stay at this fantastic four-star hotel. The interior is stylish and modern, and the rooms are beautifully designed and very comfortable. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The pool area is great, and the location right by the sea with private sun loungers was absolutely priceless. Although the hotel is slightly outside the city center, there’s a lovely promenade with plenty of great restaurants just a short walk away. The breakfast was excellent, and we honestly would have loved to stay longer – we’ll definitely be back!

Where do I begin? I have stayed at many hotels in the past, but the service I was provided at the Grand Duka is honestly the best! This hotel ticks every box! Location-wise wise it is so close to everything! The Beach, Nightlife, Bars, & Restaurants were walking distance away (cabs to and from the hotel and bars were relatively cheap as well). The hotel is absolutely beautiful, it's modern, minimalistic, with a neutral tone that flows through the property. Rooms are just as impressive, they were so clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was great too- so many people asked me where I was staying! The spa & wellness centre was well-kept and very clean! All of the gym equipment worked properly, and they had a variety of machines to choose from. The spa facilities were a great way to relax (I spent a lot of time in there!) The restaurant and bar were great, and the breakfast menu had lots of variety to choose from! The dinner options were well-made and delicious! The bar and bar staff were great, providing great customer service & recommending drinks (my favourite was the Aperol Spritz!) The staff are some of the friendliest and helpful people I have come across when staying at a hotel - they greeted us with a smile every day, they made excursion recommendations for us to make the most of our holiday, and they would always ask if there was anything they could do to help! I would like to give a special shout-out to Anisa, the Marketing Manager; she was amazing, such a lovely lady, and super friendly! We were celebrating my Sister's 23rd birthday, she went over and above to help make sure it was special, assisting with getting special decorations, planning the surprise, and the cake! Honestly, Grand Duka was one of the best hotel experiences I've ever had! If I ever find myself back in Durrës I know exactly where I'll be staying!

    Excellent stay, room very modern, good air conditioner, beds very comfortable. Our room was bigger enough for a family of 4. Large bed and 2 single beds. Bathroom with a large shower and plenty of hot water. Hotel is very close to the beach and restaurants. Hotel reception staff was very helpful with organising taxis and information on how to get around. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent, very accommodating for the kids And price good too. Breakfast was eggs, sausage, fruit, local dishes, and bread. Coffee, tea and juices.. I would recommend getting in early to get food as it warm. There was nothing keeping the food warm. I would definitely recommend and I will be visiting again.

    My daughter and I had a wonderful two-night stay at Vila Lule from Wednesday to Thursday. The owner was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. He was always smiling and took the time to explain everything about breakfast, making sure we had a great start to our day. The personal touch was amazing—he even prepared our beach chairs and towels for us every morning. The location is perfect for a relaxing trip with family, right on the beach. We loved our time here and would highly recommend it to other families."

    The sea view is REAL sea view. Not side sea view or partial see view. Therefore you will see from your bed over the bay of Durres. It is absolutely great view from your room if you have a room on the sea side. The hotel is DIRECTLY on the beach. Many good restaurants and bars are nearby very close. Therefore best location. The hotel has a stylish interior design and has a private swimming pool. The management and staff are very helpful and friendly. I can highly recomend the place and want to come back!

    I had a fantastic stay at Adriatik Hotel - I got immediate help with anything needed, a superclean room, the balcony with seaview: heavenly! Food, seaview patio, and service at the restaurant-café was impeccable. THANKS TO ADMIRAL in particular, who greeted and served me every morning at breakfast with the highest level of professionalism and genuine, heartfelt attention and care - this made me feel super-comfortable and even "at home“. I clearly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Durrës!

    Hotel is located in the second line from the beach, 2minutes walk. The hotel was clear, the stuff was helpful and the pool is the biggest attraction. The room was cleaned every day and we had very spacious place. The breakfast was every day the same but still you had a choice (eggs made 3 ways, ham, cheese, vegetables, marmalade, melon and watermelon, grapes and few kind of cakes. We also ate their paid dishes from the restaurant for dinner and was very tasty.

    I highly recommend this place. The owner and waiters were very welcoming and friendly. The room has enough space for family of four, also there was a big balcony. Perfect location, 50 m near to the hotel, also the beach chair and umbrella was included in the price. Very good breaksaft also for dinner there was a salad, a soup and varios main dishes including meat, fish, pasta and pizza.

    Everything is wonderful! I am a very picky guest and travel with my own pillow. 😊 But in this hotel I managed to completely relax. The very kind girl at the reception upgraded the room for free. The room is lovely, big and very comfortable. Very varied breakfast for every taste. The croissants just melt in your mouth! I definitely recommend this hotel for a relaxing holiday!

    Durres is a city of contrast from the Roman ampitheater to the beach, pool and shopping. Tasting the fresh fish from one of the seafront restaurants is a must but make sure you also fill up on byrek and sufflaqe! Pelikan has lots of amazing cakes for sweet treats, Tropikal resort has an amazing pool you can use for the day (1000leke) and the market is a hidden gem for bargains. The bus from the beach at Plepa along to the city Center gets VERY busy but for 40leke saves the stress of driving and trying to park and everywhere is then just a short walk. We love Durres and will be back.

    Krujë is a lovely spot with both cultural and visual appeal. One day is sufficient to see what there is to experience. I stayed an extra day because I had work to do online. Be warned, this is a mountain down so you will be doing a lot of up and downhill walking. Reconsider if you have mobility issues.

    This is perfect for its purpose!

    This is perfect for its purpose! A clean, comfy bed to catch some sleep before a flight. We could return our car, walk to Rinas to sleep and walk to the airport in the early morning. It worked out perfectly. Safe, clean & our bed was actually the most comfortable we had in our 2 weeks in Albania.

    Very beautiful beach, clean air surrounded by pine trees, family oriented, a lot of fresh and testy quality local food. Outstanding sunrise and sunset. The best I have ever seen so far. I would recommend to have options of water activities for the families and the kids even though there is plenty of ground activities available.

    We had to drive, but it wasn't a problem for us. We discovered some really nice local bars and restaurants. Duka Wine Estate is definitely recommended, just a 10-minute drive away! Lej & Laj, we'll definitely be back!

    The people were all friendly, lots of bars and restaurants. Try to take plenty local currency, or Euros. Lots of places are cash only and the banks fees are up to 20%. The old town is lovely. The promenade is made for walking. Miles long.

    Lovely and clean place.

    Lovely and clean place. Though quite small, there's plenty to explore - picturesque Bazaar under the castle with loads of lovely souvenirs where everyone is sure to find something to their taste and budget. Pretty restaurants and places of accommodation. Small shops but well stocked with things you might need. Shop owners and people working in restaurants speak decent English and the menus are available in both Albanian and English. The grounds of Krujë Castle don't seem to be large but there's a lot to explore and admire. You can walk among the romantic ruins, relax and enjoy the vista. If you venture out in the countryside, you can walk in olive groves among grazing sheep, goats and cows and if you are lucky, you can meet a local riding a donkey. If you love hiking, there's Krujë mountain. The best thing about Krujë is undoubtedly its location with stunning views - and that was what we loved the most about the place!

    If you’re seeking nightlife or a highly developed tourist infrastructure, it’s better to stay closer to the city center or in Ksamil. Albania is not just a tourist destination; it is a living history of resilience. After decades of isolation, poverty, and deep wounds, its people are working with incredible strength to build a better future, brick by brick. Its beaches are a gift, its nature is wild and pure, but its most precious asset is its people: warm, humble, and courageous. Visiting Albania is not just about traveling; it is about witnessing a real transformation. Today I want to invite you to give this country, which is being reborn with dignity and hope, a chance. Albania deserves to be seen, felt, and embraced.

    We were not directly in the city but near the beach of San Pietro.Our place was beautiful , clean with a nice long beach. I would not recommend the city itself for accommodation due to dirty beach with a not very nice smell during our visit. I definitely recommend going further south or outside the city. There are still beautiful hotels and the city itself is very nice

    I loved our stay here.

    I loved our stay here. The beach is great - clean, not too busy as locals go there and only 1 or 2 hotels on the coast, so not overloaded by tourists like some European destinations. Beautiful beach, warm sea. Just perfect.
