My parents recently stayed at Vila Borgjeze, and their experience was absolutely wonderful! From the moment they arrived, the staff greeted them with such warmth and genuine hospitality, making them feel truly special throughout their entire stay. The location of the hotel is unbeatable. Nestled in a prime spot, it offers breathtaking views and is conveniently close to key attractions. My parents loved being able to explore the charming local area and enjoyed peaceful walks in the nearby parks. The room they stayed in was spotless and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and elegance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and they appreciated the thoughtful details and high-quality amenities provided. One of the highlights of their stay was the exceptional help they received from the hotel staff in organizing a surprise birthday celebration. The staff went above and beyond to make it a memorable occasion, arranging everything perfectly and adding personal touches that made the surprise even more special. Each morning, they looked forward to the delicious breakfast spread. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, and the service in the dining area was top-notch. My parents had a truly memorable stay at Vila Borgjeze and couldn’t stop raving about the outstanding service, beautiful location, and the extra effort made for the birthday surprise. Very nice hotel with friendly staff. Our room was very clean and the bed cofortable. Parking was easy and they have several spots reserved for thier hotel. Breakfast was good. The location is perfect for exploring Korçë. Would definatly stay again.

    The hotel is perfectly located right on the riverbank—an excellent setting with beautiful views. The staff were exceptionally helpful and even accommodated an early check-in (though I’m not sure I was supposed to mention that!). Our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we were lucky to have a lake-facing room with a balcony overlooking the restaurant, giving us front-row seats to the evening festivities. There was ample parking available, a good breakfast each morning, and consistently friendly, attentive service throughout our stay.

    We had such a great stay at Casa Gace. The very best staff we have had on our trip to Albania. Even when we had a flat tire, the owner asked one of her staff to help us change it and then drive to town to get it fixed. They have a great restaurant with amazing food, and the location on top of the mountain has such a beautiful view, whilst being 4 minutes drive away from the centre. The rooms are nicely decorated and very comfortable.

    We loved everything about the place, the nature sourrounding, the bungalows were perfect, the dinner was incredible homemade food, and Titi and the people working there are the most welcoming. One of the highlights of our trip! You can also enjoy some horserading around in the nature.

    Definitely the best breakfast in Albania. Location near the center, behind the cathedral. Very nice and kind host. The room had everything you needed, for example a hairdryer and slippers for the shower. I would definitely go there again.

    Lot of local stores with local fruits, brad and cheeses in fantastic prices. The lake is extremly beatiful. The water is warm, crystal-clean and colors are so pretty. Food in restaurant is very interesting and in good prices. At the night lot of people are walking (in the summer), streets looks likes better than night club sometimes :D. Driving is "Alban style". Quite hard at the start but after few days it's ok.

    One of the few cities in Albania we'd not been to before, but it's great. And close to Lake Ohrid if you're willing to take the local buses and then haggle with taxi drivers in Prrenjas to get over the border. Ach, borders ... outside the EU, it's kinda trying, but you have to keep on.

    Great town to spend a day and perhaps one night. Fantastic lake and mountain views. Like stepping back in time. It's a way to visit the real Albania, with all its simple charms as well as flaws. Definitely not a fancy or Disneyland-type place. Has a few decent places for a lakefront meal or drink. Just walk around town to admire its authenticity and be sure to walk up to the rocky peninsula for the outstanding views (you'll likely see some sheep, donkeys and chickens long the way).

    Voskopojë is a cosy little village with an impressive history. Interesting to study. It is located in a mountainous area though not high steep peaks. Highly suitable for walks in the surrounding area without getting too exhausting. We spend 2 nights, in summer we could easily spend one more. Several good accommodation and we really enjoyed to eat at the Ambassador restaurant.

    Leskovik is a place where you must relax. The pace of this very very small town is so gentle, peaceful, and quiet. Leskovik is a walkers paradise. There are old bunkers hidden in the rear area of the town, and the extremely small local bars are absolutely charming. The locals are very relaxed, in no hurry, and very friendly people.

    We didn't stay in Erseke town, Sofra Kolonjare is out in the countryside in the region of Erseke, we enjoyed our stay very much and can recommend this for people who like countryside, walking and peace. Take bottled water with you. The restaurant is good and for 2 nights the menu is varied enough so you can enjoy the experience. Breakfast is varied you get what you get but its plentiful. We had an excellent experience and enjoyed our visit.

    We were unsure about including Korçe in our trip but no...

    We were unsure about including Korçe in our trip but no regrets. The town is pretty and the market square busy and fun in evenings along with main streets. There are bars and restaurants everywhere and we also had enough activities to fill our days with museums and churches but also driving to the lakes and the surrounding mountains. Very chilled few days and worth the detour.

    The walk over the promontory was good, a little hilly but fine for any reasonably fit person. Good to see the ruins of the monastery and the mosaic, follow the red and white stripes. Then through the green gate to the end of the promontory where there is an old pill box with views across the Lake Orhid. Hotel Leza stocks a wheat beer more to our taste if you like ale. Lin is a pretty village one of the oldest inhabited in Europe.

    The lake is beautiful to see, not gonna lie about it. But let me sum it up like this... "it had a smell" I approached the water and immediately knew I was not going into that. So I just stared at the lake while having dinner. If I ever come back to Albania I would definitely skip this part.
