Everything was great, all the staff of the hotel, all equipment and facilities of the hotel (e. g. spacious indoor parking place; ski room - which is really awesome, it's big and perfectly equipped; beautiful wellness and restaurant...). The food is really very delicious. The rooms are beautiful, sufficiently equipped and clean. The location of the hotel, on the hill, allows to have a beautiful view on the whole Kaprun. The kindness of all staff, their willingness to help, beautiful environment, delicious food, great equipment and facilities of the hotel, make the hotel a wonderful place to stay. I strongly recommend it.

The room was well designed, very big, with big bath and a private sauna. All the rooms has a view and this is a genius architecture design. We had a pool bag with towels, there’s also eco friendly Shampoo and body lotion. There’s a small terrace to drink coffee/ to eat. The breakfast was very good and with big variety of food. You can also order omelettes/boiled eggs/ scrambled eggs/pancakes/porridge from the kitchen. The stuff we’re very friendly. The swimming pool has amazing view (indoor and outdoor) and there’s also sauna area with wet and dry Finnish sauna.

I like the location and hospitality of the hotel team. After arrival, we were greeted with drinks and while drinking the wonderful lady came to us, and we filled up our details. The Complementary Summer Card covered everything around the area including cable car, boat ride, bus and train. Amazing breakfast. Private parking facility available and 7 minutes walk to the lake. From our balcony we had the lake and Mountain View both . Last but not in the list I wake up from sleep hearing bell from the cow who are grassing on the Alps.

Everything!! Layout of bedroom very efficient! Also nice to have the toilet separate. Bath and separate shower in bathroom. Kitchen equipment to cook your own meals very well thought through, everything is there! 24h coffee station in lobby very nice add on. Use of heated pool and saunas included in your stay. Breakfast was superb!! Very friendly staff en good communication before arrival, could arrange birthday cake for my daughter and the decorated the table with baloons and banner for breakfast, was really special, thank you! Me and my family will definitely be back!

The hotel is located near a river which is very nice and relaxing. The dinner was great and the staff very welcoming. The sauna is very good and we were able to relax. We were in a renovated room which was very comfortable. One top selling point is the top location near the beginning of the widely popular Großglocknerstraße. We were able to reach it in minutes in the morning and thus to avoid the crowds.

    My husband and I loved everything, especially the professional, very helpful yet patient smiling staff who made us feel at home away from our home. From Emma and Jessica at the front desk who helped arrange all our many daily activities , to Eltin who helped shuttle us to the ski slopes, the town and back in a very VIP and timely fashion, to Joseph who helped ease away our tensions and sore muscles with his unique nerve muscle vibration technique, as part of the hotel's extensive Wellness and Spa area and especially to both Daniel and Stephanos who helped end our wonderful days with the perfect Negroni, and bartender recommendations of Figo, Holy Water, Whisky Sour and Pornstar Martini to name a few, next to the bar's roaring warm fireplace after our long active days. Of course, we cannot forget the food culture embraced by the hotel kitchen- some amazing breakfast choice offerings like the Vogl Deluxe and Stained Salmon She-Loin , not to mention dinner offerings such as the house beef tartare and homemade sorbets and crackers.. Thank you everyone for making our stay so enjoyable.

    Location. It is located near three gondolas. There you find lift tickets(Schmitten) and ski rental(Brundl). With the lift tickets I could ride all lift chairs, gondolas and buses. And Brundl had shops in every gôndolas, giving total support, I did exchange my boots You can return to any of their shops. I skied all the way into the city and returned to the shop at the end of the slope. Cannot be in a better location when it comes to skiing Train station is a six minute taxi cab ride. Breakfast was good, and dinner was always the highlight of the day. I couldn't wait for dinner. You sit at the same table during your entire stay. There are many places to eat at lunchtime. At the summit with a gorgeous view, but the good thing about ski in/out, is to remove your boots after the morning run, put them in your locker with your room number, and with your slippers, have lunch at the hotel bar. My son had the VAYA special hamburger every day. And, there's the swimming pool and the sauna. The room was good, roomy, clean, fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, .... robe to go to the pool.

    Great hotel for family vacation. We have to give the highest feedback for overall impression. Quality of food is at a very satisfying level with a good variety of meals. Hotel is clean and service is excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly, and I would especially like to give special thank to the Slavica, Ankica, Dusanka, Tamara and Monika, which made us feel whole vacation like home. Swiming pool was warm, playroom area great and kids enjoyed a lot. Ski Bus station is at 30m from hotel.

Would advise when booking accommodation that you book somewhere that includes the summer card as this gives you free access to all the gondolas in the area and free travel on local buses and trains plus discounted entry to many activities and saves you a lot of money.

    Great for family vacation. Lot of playgrounds and other attractions. Free public transport for guests. We visit (with great success): - Schmidolin’s Adventure World on Schittenhöhe, - Wildpark Ferleiten, - Grossglockner High Alpine Road, and a bit further away: - Krimmel Watterfalls, - Slide Path in the Wildkogel, - Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein.

    Great authentic Austrian building with space to spare. Don't expect modern but this adds to the charm of the place. Property was well equipped with everything that we needed.     You can see a lot of facilities with the summer card. A lot to do for families ( hiking, cycling, rafting, bathing, swimming, sightseeing,visiting museums ). The food and drinks in restaurants are expensive, so it’s better to have food included in the hotel price or buy it in the store.

    Excellent Relaxing Place and quite city with great natural views and interesting entertainment Kaprun city is ver admirable Tourest city , However the supermarkets and other shopping are are closing very early and meeting the Tourists desires This to be really addressed by Austrian Government to utilise their facilities efficiently and bring more tourists to there country like others worldwide Tourists attract cites and increase city economy as well

    We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of...

    We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of the Grossglockner Road. The property has plenty of secure parking and like us the owners have classic Volkswagens so we felt that they understood our needs perfectly. The house itself is a tradiional building with flowers on the balconies and a large garden. The flat was very spacious and the views of mountains all around are stunning. There are so many things to do and see within an hours drive and all of the scenery along the way is breathtaking. One of the highlights was driving the car to Bad Fusch which was reccomeneded by the owners. We just didnt have enough time to do everything so we will be coming back next year for a longer stay! We wouls also like to thank Nikki and Danny for being such attentive hosts and making such good suggestions.

    A place with beautiful views and easy access from the main...

    A place with beautiful views and easy access from the main road, close to ski slopes, but you need a car to get there. Breakfast was in the room, but dinner was out at diverse restaurants. You can eat at a local restaurant, very friendly and good food or in Zell am See where we found a lot of different types of restaurants. Piesendorf is easy to walk through and this is one part that I liked that you can walk even during the winter time in fresh air and you can stop at the café/bakery for a cake and a coffee and enjoy the local little village atmosphere. it was great! During the day you can ski, walk or just seat in the cafe. Its great!

    We were on a driving holiday visiting the high alpine passes. The Grossglockner road tool booth is five minutes away and opens at 5:30am; we left the hotel at 5:25am and were there as it opened. The hotel was welcoming, clean and as advertised. We ate at the hotel, having been up to the Edelweißspitze (the toll is reduced after 6pm, so we arrived and went up before dinner). Some rooms overlook the main road, so you might want to request a room on the other side of the hotel if the noise of the occasional vehicle bothers you.
