Everything was amazing in this family owned accommodation. The food was delicios! We took the half board. It was very clean clean, quiet village, next to the river. The ski resort was very close driving distance. We will come again in the summer, too! Thank you :)

Great people who were very welcoming. We stayed the night before our huttour, and when we had to descend the mountains earlier due to bad weather they made room for us to stay again even though they were very busy already. The dinner and breakfast was good as well and the view from the room was beautiful.

    The location! 🤩 The hotel is located up the hill in Hopfen am See, a stunning place in the Allgäu region with breathtaking views all around, most of all of Schloss Neuschwanstein which can be seen from a distance. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful at all times, the apartment was spacious and the food was exceptional (organic and locally grown) - fantastic breakfast buffet and a delicious choice of freshly cooked dishes every evening. The pool area is spacious and welcoming and there are free aquagym courses on offer.

    Clean comfortable hotel in a beautiful location with excellent spa facilities. Plus points for us was tesla charger included in cost, we are a family of vegetarians and vegans and we're well catered for. Ate in restaurant for 3 meals, all excellent with great service. Staff very friendly and helpful. We opted for a balcony room for one of us which was amazing with views of neuschwanstein Castle and the lake and mountains. 2 other rooms were without the view but were large and comfortable.

    Didn't have the breakfast there, but the room was amazing, when you arrive the hotel, you really can't expect what you are going to see inside... the rooms are perfect, speechless. The place around the hotel is quite unique too. Also has the best restaurant I went in Switzerland, just two blocks away from the hotel . I sure will be back in the future.

    We stayed in the Eco Lodge away from the main hotel. Room was cozy, bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. The view was spectacular !!!!! Amazing location right on the lake with the trail starting right at the door step. Service was outstanding. Wish we were staying more than 2 nights.

    The location is perfect for tourists. Fussen is nice and quiet, supermarkets and pharmacy close at 7pm. Frontdesk staff speak good English, the service is great. The view of the hotel is marvelous. We can see the New Swanstone Castle directly from the ladder.

    Charming, easily walkable old town with wonderful architecture. Has a lively feel to it. Superb base to explore the castles of the area. Lovely round trip walk to the Lechfall and back.Plenty of electric charging stations.

    Elbigenalp is ideal for walking/hiking holidays.

    Elbigenalp is ideal for walking/hiking holidays. There are several alms within an hour or two hiking, often through spectacular scenery. Height differences range from an easy 200 m to 400 m, or up to 700 m if you have more time and energy. The bus running along the valley allows you to make one-way walks, or to start a walk in a different village. The river Lech is also a peaceful refuge, and it is very pleasant just to sit on a bench or rock beside the river and enjoy the sounds and sights.

    Excellent accommodation in a beautiful area for hiking & biking. Hosts were outstanding. The apartment was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Plenty of shopping within easy drives, lovely views from all directions. A definite A+.

    Fussen is very near to Castle Neuschwanstein and...

    Fussen is very near to Castle Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castle. There are many restaurants in town, though most close up around 8pm in the summer. There are grocery stores in walking distance that have a wide selection of products. The buses are very functional and accessible, though they can get overwhelmed by the number of passengers going to/from the Schwangau castles.

    I would recommend the high wire for an adventure. The view of Reutte from above is amazing. And the history of the castle ruins gives an incite to life in the area long ago. There are also very beautiful lakes for walks and the alps for hiking and skiing.

    What a gem of a town!

    What a gem of a town! I came for a race by myself and wish I had made it a family trip. The castles nearby would have been a lovely family excursion, there was a cheese shop the town just a few minutes away. The town itself was charming with shops and cobblestone streets that aren't too rough.
