The breakfast was delicious and able to cater for my dietary needs. The rooms were so warm and the whole property so peaceful, even though it’s located right in the town. They honestly thought of everything, there are even lockers for your snow gear!Guest review bySummer-anneUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 35 reviewsWe loved the location: very quiet and overlooking the Little River. There are 5 cabins/houses on the property and they are positioned far apart so your privacy is guaranteed. So many species of birdlife, some unique to the area. Deb and Dave are excellent hosts, knowledgeable, friendly, unobtrusive.Guest review byMarkAustralia

Thredbo is an idyllic snowy mountain village with a distinctly European feel. Food is delicious and great entertainment with little bands in bars and great Apres' Club DJs and atmosphere during winter season. It's nice and convenient to chair lifts and snowfields. Excellent free shuttle bus service and thredbo.com.au information on website and face to face. Gorgeous natural beauty all around and good general tourist info and other services.Guest review byDaniela - 10.0

Perisher has a great range of ski runs especially green and blue runs, and a large area to ski in. Lift queues were not an issue, though we went midweek, and the lift staff were all happy and helpful. If you're a competent skier, I recommend getting away from Front Valley where its quite busy and many beginners.Guest review byLouiseAustralia - 8.0

Tumut is nice town near the Snowy mountains, Blowering dam and Tumut River. The hotels offer great value and good quality meals, my favourites are the Kinaree Thai at the Commercial followed very closely by the Star Hotel bistro. Tumut River brewery is also worth a visit as they have a range of very nice beer. Two Tarts make a great breakfast, great coffee and have a big range of nice looking sweets.Guest review byKeithAustralia - 4.0

Avoid! No coffeeshop for breakfast .No restaurant. Very small place. Avoid ! Snowdream Motel Room 6 (1 Queen, 6 bunks, no heating in bathroom, threetimes broken showerscreen, old furniture, outlook of window on rubbish and wood. Owner Michael did not have the reservation by booking. Reception closed until evening, 19.00 hrs. No Wifi due to works. We have a business to attend to, Wifi was precondition to book as advertised. We had booked and paid for 1 week because our daughter lives there, but we left after one night and moved to Jindabyne, asking booking for a refund. So far no answer.Guest review byMichael - 10.0

Beautiful country town, my first visit to this town and it is amazing. Nice little town, close to Selwyn Snow Resort and on the way back we stop by in nice vineyard in Tumbarumba. Went there for wine tasting but end up with breakfast and great coffee. Kids had their favorite waffles with ice cream topping. Can see a lots of farm animals and off course never missed out the beautiful scenery.Guest review byRickyAustralia - 10.0
Batlow is a very welcoming little town.
Batlow is a very welcoming little town. The vibe is calm and quaint. The food options are all good. The history of the town and the surrounding places of natural beauty as well as the craft breweries make it well worth a visit. As does the sculpture Trail.Guest review bystephenAustralia - 6.0
We stayed near Adaminaby because it was close to Mt Selwyn.
We stayed near Adaminaby because it was close to Mt Selwyn. Poor snow conditions meant we had to drive 2hrs to Corin Forest or Theresbo. Cooma would have been a better choice as more central to snow fields.Guest review byPreston - 6.0

This place is much better in spring and summer, way too crowded in winter and ridiculous prices for everything, car parking is frustrating with small bays and close together with no where near enough spaces, over priced and basic eateries and food, we experienced rude staff to people in one restaurant and don't bother without a booking, they do have a coles if you don't mind fighting through screaming children and crowds.Guest review byCraig
