- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 25 reviewsIt was so spacious and clean. From the time of booking until the time we checked in, communication with the owner was exceptional. She was very quick to reply to any questions. Having the spa was a bonus and we used it daily. This property is very well kept and very clean and spacious. It’s very very close to shops and the Pondage. We will definitely be backGuest review byTamAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 118 reviewsThe location was fabulous - 20 mins from Mansfield and even less for Jameison. The view from our cabin was the star of the show - it right on the lake with mountains and greenery all around. The location was quiet and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. It was great value for money, would love to come back here.Guest review byDeeUnited Kingdom

Howqua and surrounding areas are absolutely stunning in...
Howqua and surrounding areas are absolutely stunning in Autumn. I really enjoyed the wander around the lake foreshore at Howqua Inlet, as well as Jamieson township and the Goulburn River. A stop at Jamieson Brewery and Grill for more stable wifi and beer paddle with lunch. Highly recommend also heading out to Watsons Mountain Country Trail Rides for a spectacular views from the 'Man from Snowy River' horse-ride. Downside - Howqua is a deadspot for internet, so make sure you have the GPS route written down somewhere too as a back up. Free wifi included at the Black Sparrow if you are staying there, but it is pretty glitchy for someone working remotely. Head into Jamieson (10 mins down the road) for a more stable connection.Guest review byPommieVickstarAustralia - 6.0

Love Eildon, going to the weir, nice trip to Alexandra, nothing much in Eildon, very cold wet and slushy this time of year. I realise if you want good accommodation you have to pay a lot more than we did, unfortunately what I read in the reviews was nothing like it was, so it wasn’t an accurate description.Guest review byCarolAustralia - 10.0

Howqua and Jamieson are beautiful peaceful areas with lots to do if you enjoy walking, photography, wine, relaxing and unwinding. Mansfield is about a half hour drive away and is a vibrant centre with excellent shops and quality places to eat such as the Mansfield Regional Produce Store.Guest review byMaudeeAustralia - 10.0

Spectacular scenery - rivers, mountains, small towns with good facilities and the beautiful Lake Eildon. A photographer's delight! Or bushwalker, fisherman, boater, kayaker or general tourist. Plenty to do and see. Only short distances between towns around Eildon.Guest review byAlistairAustralia
