We spent time with family and the weather was lovely, good time to visit. Had breakfast at Perk and Palate, lovely food and service. The sunsets and night market were great. Crocodylus Park is worth the visit.Guest review byDeborahAustralia - 8.0

Alice Springs is a beautiful place, just like any other town. It has it social problems and everything is normal. The scenery is compared to none. Though locals run a muck, but all foreigners were great. So it’s a great mix.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

It is a unique and special location ..and a truly beautiful one. It was our first experience of the red centre and I was struck by the beauty of the landscape particularly in the soft light of dawn and sunset and the stillness …and a big night sky I hadn’t ever experienced before. There really is a Milky Way !!Guest review bySIMONAustralia - 10.0

We stayed in Katherine for one night at Gorge View, had a meal of crocodile and Barramundi at the Katherine Club on O'shea Terrace, next morning went to the Katherine Outback Experience which we thoroughly enjoyed and had lunch at the New Shanghai restaurant. Only regret is that we didn't visit the Katherine School of the Air.Guest review byRowland - 10.0
We booked a queen room only the day before.
We booked a queen room only the day before. Check in was at 3pm. We were booked into yellow boats for sunset cruise at 4.30pm which was a 40 minute drive. Requested to get room at 2pm , our queen room was not ready but they offered us 2 doubles. Which we gladly took. Beds awesome. Had a swim in there awesome pool. I had read you must book for the restaurant and this is true. We didn't get back from cruise until 7.45pm as roadworks and husband was pulled over by police random breath test. Thankfully we had booked restaurant as we seen people arriving after 8pm and being turned away. No other food out there really to randomly get. Wish we booked 2 nights one is not enough. Need 4wd to access any look outs ect.Guest review byPamAustralia - 10.0
A fantastic place to visit.
A fantastic place to visit. The rim walk was amazing, although would require a reasonable level of fitness to make the most of it. Highly recommend a helicopter ride if you have the time and budget. We used the company just down the road from the Kings Canyon Resort and they were highly professional. You get a different persepctive from the sky. We arrived on a Sunday in the afternoon which left us enough time to do the short walk along the bottom of the canyon from the visitor car park. We did the rim walk the next day and also visited Kathleen Springs. The next day we did the helicopter ride and then did a short 8 km return section of the Giles walk from the Kathleen Springs end. It helps if you have done some hiking as some of the blazes showing the trail were a little hard to locate in a couple of places. There was a lovely water hole at the end of the walk which made it well worth the effort. Highly recommend visiting. The sunsets are very pretty.Guest review bySusanAustralia - 6.0

I did not feel safe or comfortable in the centre of town so did not stop there. The Lake Mary Ann picnic area was lovely with many peacocks and geese wandering around. Our main reason for staying in Tennant Creek was to use it as a base to explore the Devils Marbles area which was well worth the 1 hour drive south.Guest review byThompsonAustralia - 8.0

Didn't visit Batchelor itself but Litchfield Tourist Park was well situated for visiting all the amazing natural sites. One road only through park unless you have 4wd vehicle. Some of the pools aren't open all year round due to Croc danger but one's that are open are fantastic for a refreshing dip.Guest review byKathyUnited Kingdom - 6.0
It is pretty close to Uluru which is why we stayed there.
It is pretty close to Uluru which is why we stayed there. The pool looked alright but we didn't have the time to get in really. The food in the restaurant was good. I am not sure, but it seemed the fuel was relatively expensive, so I think next time I might fuel up a bit further away from the Uluru turnoff. Fuel is expensive at Uluru too. The surroundings were peaceful. Rooms were basic and might have easily been more hospitably set up but were clean.Guest review byJanetAustralia - 10.0
I liked the facilities and friendly service by staff.
I liked the facilities and friendly service by staff. I would recommend to stock up on citronella candles or insect repellant if you wish to enjoy the outside common areas as mosquitoes are everywhere once dusk is approaching. Overall I would stay at this place again if travelling through to Darwin again and highly recommend to other travellersGuest review bySavsNew Zealand
