A truly epic stay!
From the moment we stepped into The Tamborine Boutique Hotel, we were blown away! The staff here are absolutely incredible—they went above and beyond to make our stay feel special. Every single person we encountered was so friendly, accommodating, and genuinely eager to ensure we had the best experience possible. The views are absolutely stunning, and the food was out of this world. The sensational continental breakfast each morning was a highlight—so fresh, so tasty, and packed with variety. Plus, the pool is perfect for relaxing and taking in the gorgeous surroundings. Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay. We’ll be back for sure!
Beautiful setting Villa felt very luxurious. We had a spa bath which I used - awesome There was a gas fire in the room so that would be so nice in the winter very cozy. We had their breakfast which they deliver to your Villa personally. that was wonderful, we sat on the deck and listened to the birds
The staff were fantastic very friendly. Also the restaurant was a bonus as we didn't fancy going out for dinner. Really lovely food good menu choice and to top it off a super chef, also fun to talk to and very creative. get her cheesecake its delicious.
Very easy (by phone) access to the room. Room was extremely comfortable and priced very good. The owners go over and beyond with little little touches. ie the welcome booklet was very informative, the little chocolate on the pillow, cereal for breakfast & enough milk for cereal and coffee were great touches.
There was ample parking, beautiful gardens and sounds. A very quite space to relax after a long drive and listen to and watch nature on the patio.
I don’t know where to begin! I loved everything about this place! From the hosts to the place itself, full of charm, a beautiful mix of Polish and Australian culture. The views are out of this world with beautiful lorikeets and other birds coming to your balcony. Ania, Phil and their family were so welcoming that it just felt like home. The facilities are great, everything that you need is there. Can’t wait to go back soon.
Beautiful location with stunning views. Comfortable, cosy room. Communal areas with an open fire to relax by at night or outdoor verandah to enjoy the birds by day. A delicious breakfast each morning was a great way to start the day. Thank you for your warm, welcoming and generous hospitality Simon and Jacqui. You were perfect hosts.
Superb jaw-dropping villas in lovely grounds. A friendly kookaburra perched on the balcony! Lovely cinema room (you need to book it). The best cooked breakfast we had in Australia. Fabulous couples massage from the two spa ladies.
Everything- great location surrouded with nature, private balcony with spectacular views, and delicious breakfast.
Thanks Jilly and Mel for your hospitality, mum and I had a great stay!
Everything about our stay was stunning. The views, the Mexican themed room was fabulous, the extra large bath tub with jacuzzi, the balcony, the quietness - it was beautiful all round
Tranquil, quiet setting and a lovely spacious room. The restaurant was really special and the food was very good. The sparkling wine on arrival was a nice touch.
Mt tamborine needs a face lift. Looking very tired on it now from what it looked like in the 70ies
More like a forgotten place with lots of dilapidated buildings, with some junk stores in the tourist spots

Our group of friends had a fantastic weekend at the Bower Cottages. The cottages were charming, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Nestled in a peaceful bush setting, it felt like a true escape from the hustle of daily life. We loved sitting out on the deck in the mornings, surrounded by birdsong and nature. The location was perfect – just a short drive to the wineries, walking trails, and local shops. Highly recommend for a relaxing and comfortable stay with friends!

We loved our stay at the cottage, felt so at home but a hint of luxury. Absolutely everything you could ever need available to you in the cottage and the hosts are very accommodating. Such a beautiful place huge kitchen with amazing view and back deck/second bathroom are also so nice with great views. Would be great for a family, within walking distance of eagle heights resort and a 5 minute drive to amazing restaurants + cafes. Plenty of hikes and rainforest views all round!

Not too busy area even though just before Christmas period.
Not too busy area even though just before Christmas period.
The Curtis fall is not long for walking (1 Kilometre return from the car park). Not recommended for them who has trouble with walking as there are few steps as well. Lots of bats with shrill noise throughout the walk. Mind the steps as the path is slippery in some areas.
Botanical garden is very nice and quiet place for the solo traveler.
There are many restaurants and cafes around the area.
Lot of artifacts stores like the clock store etc if you just want to walk around the main streets.
Not far from Brisbane, a day trip will suffice if not planning to stay overnight if not preplanned for the day to spend.
Book the Glow warm tour ahead online if it a part of your to do list.
Don't forget to visit the winery for tasting.

Great outdoor experience although the township is a little bit touristy. Amazing rainforests nestled around Mt Tamborine. Great place for walking and seeing native scenery. Easy to get around by car. A few basic restaurants around although most were closed on the 2 nights we were there!

Lovely getaway location with lots to do!
Lovely getaway location with lots to do! The Gallery Walk was excellent shopping and a few great distilleries to visit as well. We did Waterfall Walks, had delicious coffee and had plenty of eating out options. Can highly recommend 'Three Little Pigs' for dinner!

Pretty disappointed with the facilities.
Pretty disappointed with the facilities. We will be leaving early. If I had had a closer look on arrival I would have stayed on the coast and let you keep the money. The room was totally uninviting and cold.
The bathroom had scum and hairs through it. The bed sheets were filthy. Food and stains on the linen( can only imagine what from. Nothing had been cleaned from previous guests. Shocking. $200 should have provided clean, organised and personalised experience.
I don’t live like this. Thanks for making me live like this for a night.
Sorry. I won’t be coming back or recommending you to anyone. Quite the opposite. Regards.
Michael.
