- From US$274.89 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 478 reviewsWe loved it! Karijini Eco Retreat is an amazing place to stay. We booked the luxury tent and it was worth it. It was really hot and to have an AC on your tent it’s life changing. All the common areas were great and the staff was really thoughtful - our experience at the Eco Retreat wouldn’t be so good if it wasn’t for Shell and Clodagh, who were nothing but nice and so kind to us, and provided us a lot of advices regarding places to visit and the wild life. About the heat: it’s not great when the temperatures hit 45 degrees, but if you get up early (4:30/5:00) you can enjoy the hole morning (until 1pm) and you have the gorges all to yourself. It’s very peaceful and quiet.Guest review byJonnyStarPortugal
- From US$456.84 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 470 reviewsIncredible family destination! Best accom in Broome. Right on cable beach and everything you need for a stress free stay. The resort restaurants were very expensive but the food was excellent so we didn’t mind - definitely book in advance though as there doesn’t seem to be enough sittings in peak times.Guest review byKateAustralia

Favourite place Cable Beach - facilities on beach - seats, umbrellas, life savers. Several bars and restaurants nearby. Town bus gives easy access to everywhere. No high rise buildings - traditional Broome style retained.Guest review byKevinAustralia - 10.0

I Love Exmouth, the activities are boundless, so much amazing snorkelling right off the beach. Can see so many turtles, sharks and fish! As well as amazing boat tours for whale sharks and humpbacks it’s worth every penny you spend ! We had dinner at Froth which was a great vibe for a pub with good food.Guest review byAlisonUnited Kingdom - 8.0

I really enjoyed all the day tours I was able to do from Kununurra to Lake Argyle, Bungle Bungle, Mitchell Falls and El Questro and there are some lovely art galleries in town. Generally people were friendly however I wouldn't venture out after dark. I was very glad I chose the Kimberley Croc Motel as it is very central, right opposite Coles, so easy walking distance. It's nothing flash but has a lovely little pool and courtyard, a good laundry and kitchen so very economical, and also pet-friendly. It is also secure. If you have a vehicle there is lovely accommodation on the edge of town beside or near the lake.Guest review byPamela - 10.0
Relaxed and Friendly Town
Relaxed and Friendly Town Karratha is a great place to visit. The locals are friendly and welcoming. The town has everything you need, with shops, cafes and services close by. It’s clean, easy to get around and has a relaxed pace. The surrounding landscapes are unique and worth exploring. Good value overall for a regional stay. Tips for New Visitors: Book accommodation early, especially during peak work seasons. Bring sun protection. The weather is hot and dry most of the year. Hire a car if you want to explore nearby spots like Dampier or Karijini. Visit local cafes early. Some close by mid-afternoon. Check opening hours for shops and services. They can vary. Talk to locals. They often have the best advice on where to go.Guest review byDexterH71Australia - 8.0
For a first time visitor, Port Hedland was interesting.
For a first time visitor, Port Hedland was interesting. There is nothing much to do (other than walk around the jetty area). The sunset was beautiful, the long walk ways on the beach front was a great way to enjoy the town. Of course you could join tours to go on the water or to the Salt Lake etc.Guest review byAmyAustralia - 8.0
Coral Bay is a very beautiful and relaxing place to visit.
Coral Bay is a very beautiful and relaxing place to visit. The Ningaloo Reef is a highlight and a trip on the glass bottom boat is a must. The eating facilities are quite adequate , we enjoyed Bill's and the Reef Bar. The seafood pizza at the Reef Bar was delicious and the best we had ever tasted. The shop assistants and coach driver ( from the airport) were exceptionally helpful and cheerful. It was a pity the beauty spa was only open 2 days a week , February may not be their high season.Guest review byJudy - 10.0
Amazing beaches, great canyons.
Amazing beaches, great canyons. Love the staff on tours and way the tour operators work together to ensure the marine animals are not disturbed or harmed. The regulations for whale sharks/ whales tours and operators etc are great as it gives tourists an experience with minimal risk to the animals. Weather great. Needs some investment in roads being graded to canyons, caravan parks and bins on streets. Need a car to get around Exmouth unless you are booking tours that include a pick up.Guest review byLisaAustralia - 10.0

The museum was excellent, the boardwalk was good. I liked the location with the beach nearby, I liked the information on the boardwalk. The road to thr old town was very touch and the signs weren’t accurateGuest review byYvonneAustralia - 4.0

Unfortunately Halls Creek is suffering from lack of inspiration! Information Centre not open so no information of the area, it is run down and needs a good lot of help from the WA govt to encourage tourism ... There is a lot to see and the history is amazing. Roads are very poor to the sights people wish to see and explore. Indigenous population friendly and I'm sure with a little encouragement & support many would be able to find employment without the constant "put down" there seems to be!Guest review byJanAustralia - 10.0
A very interesting place to visit.
A very interesting place to visit. Lots of history and nature. Every tour was interesting, well run and full of new and great information. The tour guides were all easy to understand and full of knowledge. The food included in every tour we took exceeded our expectations. Wonderful fresh seafood selections everywhere we visited. All tours really take care of the natural environment, no rubbish on the beaches here. A good example of mixing tourism with care and understanding in order not to pollute the environment.Guest review byFrancesAustralia
