- From VND 8,462,726 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 3,521 reviewsMy stay at Cradle Mountain Hotel was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I arrived, I felt enveloped by the serene beauty of the landscape, a world where nature and comfort exist in perfect harmony. The hotel itself is an absolute gem – every detail has been thoughtfully curated to ensure a flawless experience. The rooms are spacious, cozy, and elegant, with large windows that frame the breathtaking views outside. Waking up to the sight of the mist-laden mountains and hearing the soft rustle of trees was like waking up in a dream. A special mention goes to Megan at the reception, whose warm and genuine welcome made me feel right at home. Her attention to detail and her eagerness to assist with every need ensured my stay was seamless from start to finish. The hospitality at the Bar and the restaurant was equally exceptional – the staff were friendly, attentive, and made dining a truly memorable experience, whether it was the hearty meals or the perfectly crafted drinks. I also want to extend my appreciation to the lovely lady at the gallery inside the hotel. She had such a passion for the art and the local culture, and her warmth and knowledge made exploring the gallery an enriching and delightful experience. But it’s the surrounding beauty that truly leaves one speechless. The hotel feels like it’s been gently placed in the embrace of nature. The towering peaks of Cradle Mountain loom in the distance, majestic and awe-inspiring, while the nearby forests and clear lakes glimmer like poetry in motion. The trails that snake through this untouched wilderness are like passages into another world, where time slows and the soul finds peace in the quiet dance of the wilderness. Every aspect of my stay was perfect – from the delicious meals to the cozy fireplace that invited deep relaxation. Cradle Mountain Hotel is more than a place to stay; it’s a sanctuary for the soul, a retreat into nature’s finest masterpiece.Guest review byAdityaIndia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 409 reviewsVery cozy chalet with real wood fire, heating lamps in bathroom with jacuzzi, everything very clean. Wifi was down, but we received a router to contact home. Car could stay in carport right at the chalet. Close to see „The Wall in the Wilderness“. Might not look like much from the Outside, but this place is a real gem.Guest review byWalt JonathanGermany

The timing of our trip and very little crowd was the best part. Having pretty much Dove lake to ourselves was amazing. The weather was a bit so so but it’s was all prt of the experience. It’s an amazing, beautiful place. A must is to do the dove lake circuit and the Roony Creek to Dove lake. Walks are fairly easy and 80% on boardwalks. Marion’s lookout is a definite for next trip. Don’t forget to also do Devils @ cradle for amazing wildlife experienceGuest review byAshAustralia - 8.0

A nice little country town, which makes a great stopover when travelling between Hobart and the west coast. It is quite picturesque, especially after it snowed. One downside to snow though is possible road closures if you don't have a 4WD. There's also not a lot of options for food. Best to go shopping for groceries at the local shop or head to another town if you want to eat out (we went to Miena).Guest review byRebeccaAustralia - 8.0
The setting is beautiful.
The setting is beautiful. I would suggest bringing your own plates and cutlery as there were none available in the room. Just a fridge with some long life milk, a kettle and some cups with some tea and coffee. There is no microwave. Very comfy bed and very cozy room. Be warned there is absolutely no internet wifi and I could only get cell coverage for my phone down by the lake. But it is lovely and peaceful.Guest review byJocelynAustralia - 10.0

Mole Creek's location allowed us easy access to a variety of towns and sites across the area - from Cradle Mountain to the Bossimis Bakehouse and Cafe in Sheffield which we visited every day we were in the area. The roads were easy to travel and the locals were warm and welcoming. Food at the Mole Creek Hotel was excellent and prices are very good.Guest review byMaureenAustralia - 10.0

Caveside is a beautiful place to rest and take time out of a busy life. The views are amazing as is the quiet and the fresh air. The room is modern, clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed for a couple of nights away. We really loved the property with its own little rain forest walk, dam, fire pit and golf course. We were not too far from the caves, however we didnt have enough time to explore them. Deloraine is only 20min drive if you are needing any essential shopping. Overall it is a lovely getaway for 2 - 3 nights for some rest and relaxation.Guest review byJane - 10.0
Absolutely stunning and picturesque spot.
Absolutely stunning and picturesque spot. Gorgeous Mountain and farmland views. We had an incredible lunch with friends at a nearby Raspberry farm and strolled along the beautiful river at Delloraine. Next time we will stay longer and explore the surrounding area and caves.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
It's where the Derwent River starts.
It's where the Derwent River starts. See Lake St Claire and The Wall. Great stopover for a rest. We bought our own food to cook but the Roadhouse can cater if they know by 4.30pm. They also have wine and beer if you need. So glad we stayed over.Guest review byAlanAustralia - 8.0

It is a special place but visitors need to know that there are no additional facilities there. Ensure you have a full tank of petrol and purchase some goodies to take with you because once you are there you are a "trapped" audience. Prices are high and variety is not great.Guest review byHarvey - 8.0
Peace and tranquility was a big winner for us.
Peace and tranquility was a big winner for us. There was not a lot for us to do there other than a drive into the small community and a drive outside of town to look at town water supply. We brought our own food and supplies with us , expecting there would be limited choices within the town .There was very little available at general store when we looked so very pleased we made that choice !Guest review by2 Happy TravellersAustralia
